My hair got thinner with age ,so I to cut my hair in a shorter style to adjust for it.

Great haircut, I cut.mine similar, I use (small #1 guard bottom of side/ then reg.#1 guard on rest of side and then #2 guard on the top) I do it once a week.just like the marines do.lol I'm 62 years old, I've been doing my own haircuts for 20+ years , first a flat top haircut, then a high and tight GI fade. With a WAHL.clipper from Walmart, Thank you for your service.

Call me stupid but I always tried to stick the hand mirror behind my neck, much easier to turn around and have the small one in front of you, duh

If the Military could teach us how to cut our own hair, it would improve quality control at the PX/BX. I know it's a money making deal and "bidness" for them with top level contracts beyond the 4 star level, but the Marine Corps contracted with one company that hired anyone without a license. They even admitted that they didn't require a license for their barbers. It's one thing to shave a recruit's head, and another when you are to lead an entire Company and set an example. The the civ mafia in charge of the PX simply yuk-yuk'd and sent me coupons for more haircuts of their haircuts. Not even the base SgtMaj would touch it. Thanks, great job!!

The lever is a difference between shorter and longer cuts. I don't remember why but they go in different directions when cutting hair. But you did a pretty damn good job! And I agree works alot better then paying 20 a pop for haircuts. Being a single mom I've learned to cut my son's hair. I gotta work on fading but like I said your really good at it. 👍
