    If you put a drop of the epoxy onto a piece of wax paper, then apply to the hole, the wax paper will keep the epoxy in place, leaving less to be removed later.

    This is a great vid and thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍 One of the key tricks to heavy surf fishing is wearing a rubber rain coat over your neoprene waders, specifically Grundens. Then synch your belt tight over the raincoat around your waist. Now you’ll be able to take a sea right over your shoulders. If you get sucked out the neoprene waders will keep you afloat and the gravy navy will be able to see your orange coat from afar.

    I was surprised this video is till around. Good technique until 5:30. You should never, ever let a wave push you backwards. That is not the correct way to do a reverse landing. Instead, paddle hard enough to maintain position, then backpaddle after the wave has passed. He may have just screwed up, then tried to cover it. Personally, I'm not a fan of that long tow rope either. Too easy to get tangled in it, and you have no control over the kayak. At least shorten it up to one or two feet.

    Well it's like a bucktail, you want to bounce the bottom and then be a little higher. However, with a bt, you have one hook and the bottom gets snagged fairly often...but the bt costs maybe 4 bucks...and you can tie your own. With a lure like this you have, really six hooks, and you get snagged very quickly in typical New England rocky bottom. If you have a wall rack of several hundred plugs, I guess this might not be a problem, but for me, I lose a couple of $20 plugs in the first five minutes....that strategy doesn't work anymore for me...

    I like how it takes the place of the rudder, it's small and doesn't take up much room, but the price is ridiculous, more that the kayak I'm looking to buy. trying to figure out how to modify a normal trolling motor to where it's still that small.

    the motor is loud and it's cost is $2200 for the whole kit. it is much cheaper to get a 30 pound thrust motor and batter and do it yourself. great idea to have but i'm not spending that much money. also that battery last half the time as if it were a regular style trolling motor.

    Wow, I never realised that videos on TH-cam were supposed to be entries for the Oscars... Anyway, really helpful video thanks! Something you showed, which you probably didn't realise was the fact tht there are so many trolley holes underneath the boat. For me, as someone who's never owned a kayak before and is looking to buy one in the new year, it was seriously useful info. I have already set my heart on a Hobie PA 14 for no end of reasons afloat, but I had concerns about how I would manage with it on the land. May not sound much to most people around here, but being disabled thru spinal injuries, the transportation weight DID concern me. I now have the option of either their expensive trailer to move the boat around with, or perhaps one of their trolleys and a single wheel nearer the front for getting the boat from my local beach to my home, which is about 800 yards. All in all, thanks. You have opened up a few options for me here which I didn't realise were there to be had. Well done!

    Why on earth dont you guys use 15' or 16' rods?

    • @Sagittarius-88
      @Sagittarius-88 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rods that long would have to be custom built, which = $$$$. Also, rods of that length are generally "heavers", meant to throw 8oz and up. Certainly not ideal for plugging. One other factor as well...wading into a rough surf, getting splashed and beat up by numerous waves...that's part of the fun ;)

    • @brianbejan575
