During the months of October and November, 2023, brown pelicans gathered in our bays, estuaries and eventually along the coastline to begin their fall migration back south to the warmer waters of southern California and northern Mexico. They are such a delight! My next door neighbor has a Linden tree loaded with Swallowtails this summer!
Stunning bird fotos, Tim. I love those wetland birds - wrote a song about the song of thr 'Redwing'.
Do you remember the details of the lens you used for the bear, elk, starfish and rabbit photos? So crisp. 📷 Editing on the haystack photo was perfect! 👌🏻
The telephoto used last year was a Nikon 500mm PF f/5.6 lens. Most of the images were shot wide open at the quickest shutter speed that light would allow!
I try to keep the color intensity and lighting exactly as I remember when I shot the photos
