Yeah this doesn't really work, the music is made to be timed with what's on screen, naturally in sync with the movie it was made for. Here it just feels completely random as the music goes into different directions and has flairs regardless of what happens. For a game like this you want instantly catchy music anyway that can go alongside anything that happens in the game.

I wonder how well the orchestral arrangements from Star Fox Assault would work. It’s been so long since I’ve played that one though, I don’t recall if each 64 track was redone for Assault.

the retro 80s op music and character design is perfect. seeing star wars imagined this way is bittersweet. this sort of thing is really niche. only devoted scifi/anime nerds could make this work.
