Nice buddy! Morning is the best time to run! I have to take a break now because I rolled my ankle a few days ago while running a downhill. I must be careful in the future!

I have not been to Forest Park yet, I checked on the map it's a pretty huge and beautiful place! I will try to have a run there in the future!

@@kdroadrunning Try signing up for the 4-mile race in Forest Park on May 26. That's a great way to see the trails-and-road course!

I have not gone to Kissena Lake yet, but I ran through part of the park before. I definitely will check it out in the future! Thanks for your information!

@@kdroadrunning You're welcome, KD. Kissena Lake is pretty - just like Alley Pond is pretty. It is just a few steps longer than a half-mile loop, so it is great for running workouts.

I attached my GoPro to my chest like a bodycam, leading with my left hand. That's why it's distracting the video. Alley Pond Park is a nice place to visit!

@@kdroadrunning Other running videos don't have a left hand appearing in the shot, so it is distracting to me. Yes, Alley Pond Park looks like a nice place to visit - I will go there someday.

I used a chest mount strap to attached the GoPro 11. The strap is a little bit uncomfortable while running, but it is ok overall.

@@hebert1518I am going to run the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3 this year! I got selected in the lottery.

It’s the Mountain Bike Trailhead. I got into it from 210th street. The park is pretty huge!

I become a member of NYRR(New York Road Runners), they plan out running events a few months ahead that you can sign up. The major events are usually scheduled around the same time each year. Or you can sign up NYCRUNS events from their website.

Thanks my friend! The Harlem Hill was the worst part for sure! I did a test run last year, so I was mentally prepared for the hill, if I did not do that, it would be a surprise! In the Fred Lebow HM, we had to go trough the Harlem hill 3 times to finish. Thanks so much! 😀

It was my first one under 2 hours. During my training in the past 3 months, the fast time was around 2:15:00. I did not skip the raining and snowy days in training, that helped me a lot.

Yes! Joe Kleinerman 10K is really a great race to kick off a new year. This is also my first time to run a NYRR race. I signed up other races as well, such as 10K and half marathon. Happy new year🎉
