Full length timelapse showing construction of our new Scout Headquarters building. Starting in August 2023, and completing June 2024. The project was funded by the Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport, under the Youth Investment Fund.

April 2024 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During April, the externals to our site took shape, with completion of the retaining wall, installation of kerb lines, footpaths, and the perimeter fence. Internally, plastering was completed, decorations and ceiling installation commenced, the kitchen was fitted, and mechanical and electrical installations continued.

March 2024 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During March, the roof was completed, and solar panels were fitted, enabled the scaffolding to be removed. The garage door, and external doors and windows were fitted. Groundworks continued, with installation of the attenuation tank and other underground services. February 2024 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During February, brickwork and cladding was completed. The roof was mostly completed, and the installation of windows and doors commenced. Internally, 1st fix partitions, and electrical and mechanical installations commenced.

January 2024 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During January, the building's envelope has progressed. This consisted of continuation of SFS (Structural Framing System), sheathing board, insulation, brickwork, and commencement of the roof. Internally, metal stud work commenced, seeing the start of the internal fit out!

December 2023 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During December, brick and block work progressed, pre-cast concrete floor planks were installed, the steel frame was completed, SFS and the gas membrane install commenced, and scaffold was erected.

November 2023 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 During November, ground beam foundations are completed, the 1st visit by the steel erectors is undertaken, and sub-structure brick/ block work commences.

October 2023 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 In this update, ground remediation (grouting works) and CFA Piling (Continuous Flight Auger) are completed, and ground beam foundations are underway.

September 2023 Timelapse update for our new Headquarters Project! 😃 We'll be posting these monthly. In this update, asbestos removal and demolition is completed, and ground remediation commences!
