Tennessee Fish

My name is Israel, and I think one of the greatest enjoyments in life is fishing the creeks, rivers and lakes of Tennessee. I hope to learn more about fishing through this channel, and I hope you'll learn something new with me! I'll wade and kayak fish, using both conventional tackle and fly rods. Surprise catch kayaking Percy Priest Lake
White bass started busting shad so I threw several lures at them without luck, then finally switched to a blade bait. After several minutes I decided to jig it off the bottom and picked up a surprise catch. Thanks for coming along.

Just a little lunch break creek fishing in Middle Tennessee

I took about 30 minutes to scout out a new creek during my late-summer lunch break. The water was low, slow and clear. Definitely a place I want to come back to and wade later. I used a no-name nymph (or micro-hellgramite), a green Bobby Garland minnow, and a purple Bobby Garland minnow. The minnows definitely got them fired up today. Hope you can get out in a creek and go fishing soon!
Bank fishing in April was slow... until it wasn't!

It's April in Tennessee, so I took a walk down the bank at the local reservoir to try to find some fish. It was slow, but the fish were where I thought they'd be - just had to give them what they wanted! I learned two lessons - set a timer to swap GoPro batteries, and start at the high-percentage areas! Thanks for coming along.
That rod bend though! I am going to have to drag the old kayak out of the garage while the other is getting patched up. Awesome fight.
@@OntheRealFishing I had repaired the rod tip too, so I thought it was going to snap at any point. Go get 'em!
