My friend was like a sister to me. Now I am home alone studying the bible. I am saddened that even here in Canada some Christians eyes are blinded to who Trump is. I think “unavoidable” or even reasonable given the exigencies of existence in a restricted entropic evolving realm would be a more clear expression of the idea of a higher pattern and purpose to bad things. A lot of times, when people move in the correct direction with their thoughts but are unclear they do things like maybe say that some bad things are in the end good. It’s part of the overarching epistemological process of existing. In other ways, humans rely far too much on instrumental survival ideas, and they are programmed by them instead of thinking. Even in academia, I rarely met anyone who actually could think about things in original ways.

I am not an evangelical Christian, but I’ve been appalled and baffled by their acceptance of Trump. I never expected that and I never expected the Republican party to accept Trump either. I think God that there are people like the two of you in the evangelical church speak out against this. Trump speaks for the father of lies. From what BZ says it’s clear he has accepted Satan’s very first lie, the claim that you don’t really die. BZ admits that he believes in a type of purgatory, claiming his conception of purgatory to be different than the Catholic version. Hopefully BZ will one day understand that he is a soul and that he doesn’t “have a soul”. Mystical soul separation from the body at death is very much a non biblical teaching.

Its sad but I believe it says more about the 80 percent of his supporters from the church. As a black minister I have seen this for 25 years and now's its out in the open where we all can see it. Its about bigotry hate and grievance. I blame the pastors for this as many gave a wink and nod to this and mainly in 2016 when these pastors would not repudiate Trump nor denounce him or maga.
