Could Joe Reader use the Azure Portal web interface to interact with the files in the container instead of Azure Storage Explorer? (My user does not want to install and use Azure Storage Explorer).
Great tutorial! The part where you reference the input of the custom subscription ID and resource group for the Azure Resource go it work! After you referred it, it was obvious why I couldn't get it to work, but hadn't thought of it until then ^^
Happy it helped 🙂
Thank you Kris, really helpful video. Easy to understand and replicate :-)
Hi Kris, i always wondered what exactly those containers did and found your video here. Then i see you installing a plugin, but wait....they are already part of FF, why is Kris installing a plugin? I found the plugin is more or less a management tool for the already built-in container functionality, you might want to emphasize that, nevertheless i would not have known about the plugin if not for this vid, thanks for sharing! The plugin comes from the Mozilla foundation themselves, makes you wonder why they didnt bother to just put it into their browser, it makes it much easier to manage them, i can imagine without the plugin some would stay away from using them because of the hassle (and that is also why i went looking for what others had to say about it). Weird.
Thanks @daanmageddon, funnily enough I have only ever used the plugin and didn't know otherwise. The beauty of the tech community is we are all learning all the time and there are plenty of collaborative and helpful people :)

Firefox Containers saved my life

Very interesting topic, thank the algorithm. A while ago I wanted to create a service, very similar to what MS calls "model as a service" now (endpoints for hosted AI models), but a year or so before they launched it and now everyone is doing it. It was a solo venture and the high prices for cloud GPU instances were a deal breaker. I couldn't afford to burn money for a year until I turn a profit. Then I needed to deploy an AI model for inference for one of my existing projects, looked at the prices again and decided that I will just build a server and host it in a data center, since there are many T2 and T3 data centers in my city. I wanted a 1U server so it's cheap to host, but it turns out these are super expensive and you can't build it yourself with off-the-shelf components. I'm a software guy, I have a hardware/electronics guy and 6 months ago we decided to start a company and make entry-level 1U GPU servers. I would like to exchange contacts with you, we might need your services down the road. Also feedback from someone like yourself will be super valuable. Cheers
Great to hear you found it interesting :), the best way to get in touch is probably through LinkedIn - www.linkedin.com/in/kristurk/
1 - Costs. you compare costs of a brand new hardware with the ones that cloud provide you , which is usually 1 gen behind (actually I had situation that GCP ran my vm's on Broadwell's) Also - HPE MSA 2060 costs 28k fully loaded with SSD's , but you've added SSD costs 2 times, and it looks like you've added other hardware (e.g CPU's, heathsinks, fans, NIC) and software (e.g. iLO license ) more than once Also - why do you need another storage controller when you have MR408i-o ? Also - you forgot to add 24Tb of SSD storrage to your cloud setup (which makes a HUGE difference on pricing) so , either - remove 66k from on prem setup or add cost of storage to cloud 2,3 - I want to remind you how Amazon's services leaked accounts data like 6-7 years ago or despite all the compliance Microsoft FUped this year with Cloud Strike update (and half of the services including Azure and GitHub were temporarely anavailable )

Apologies I didn't show the final notification as there are plenty of video's available showing how to send an e-mail or teams or slack notification, I just wanted to show how to get the data for SharePoint Quota

Thanks @Kris! awesome
Great vid @Kris
This was great thanks we are just introducing DevOps git to our workplace.
thanks xtrmm4tt. Glad it was helpful :) In the next few weeks will get getting back to some real world scenario's in Azure :)
Why don't you upload more on youtube regarding azure pipelines ? 😢
Is there anything specific you would like me demonstrate?
Very useful video...!! Really appreciate your work. May I know about the below scenario: Say if there is a main repo in github 'Repo1' and inside the main repo there is a submodule of another github repo 'Repo2' is configured. In local, we can run 'git submodule init' and 'git module update'. But in azure pipeline how do you think we can achieve this??
