I was in this kpop obsessions for 6 to 7 years and got very obsessed with this particular idol i hated to admit it but later i did that i am obsessed i am still working on myself i was very alone and depressed this kpop thing make me appy but only for sometime i forget everything about me myself myy family i was not living in present and i wasted a lot of time please guys i hope no body go through this if you are going through this stop it love yourself and live your life i am feeling happy nowadays after living that toxic things i have started journal if i feel upset i write it down and instead of distraction like watching kpop etc i deal with it we can do it if i can do it you can too

im genuinely scared. i started liking kpop in February of this year, and i think this is the worst year to consume kpop. with all the stuff coming out about companies mistreatment of idols.. and the vcha stuff that just came out, i feel awful. kpop helped me cope wirh my depression, and i had self harmed and tried to commit a few times, along with my eating disorder im still trying to recover from. kpop kind of took me out of it, and im completely clean now. but just knowing im supporting these companies by even listening.. hurting people by doing so.. it makes me feel awful. i dont know what to do. i know im just one person, it isnt all me. but, im a kid, its natural for me to worry :( i dont want my fixation on this music to hurt anybody, especially the people working under these companies. they already hurt enough, im just so scared. i just turned 15, and knowing that i might be fueling kids my age to go down the awful rabbit hole i did for 6 years.. i feel like a monster in a way. i want all these idols to live regular lives, i dont want to hear about another person hurting. if i could, id just give them all a new life, a new path. i feel like im rambling now.. but im just so scared that it isnt right for me to support these groups.

Any music that toxic is annoying to me.I gave up kpop because I got threaten and cyberbully on facebook. I'm a Christian and with discerment to see nothing but hatred in the pages and bullying. Being obessesses kpop does that. But I do not fall for idolitary. I been ask many time was i stan for bts.. as a Christian I do not put person or things in God's place of my heart. Because it Idolitary.

I’m obsessed

I’m a carat and my mind wanders to what other fandom universes are hiding out there. I don’t have an emotional attachment to BTS solo work, yet I was watching their documentaries two summers ago. I was a dedicated army for at least a year. There’s txt and enhypen, but they are about my age, so I just hide in Caratland that at least has some gen Z members and shows the switch into the millennials. It means a lot to me because I just got to see my group again and now after some struggles previous tour, I get to say I saw all thirteen guys in person. Yet I dreamt about my first ever bias, Suga, yesterday. I already have almost three years to Joshua and his group. Two concerts in person, many more virtually. I can’t regret it, but it is an interesting time now that we’re already in an enlistment. Thank you!

My biggest kpop phase was around during 2011 to 2014. I also got a lot of weird questions back then when I talked about kpop, I wonder what they think now with how mainstream kpop is now. I did listen before and after but it was my main fandom period. and began drifting away in 2016. It was just a natural progression of moving away from it. Be it a combonation of my groups reaching the end of their peaks like Jessica leaving SNSD, f(x), BAP, EXO, VIXX, Crayon Pop and many more becoming less active. Along with the trends of sound and fandom becoming less of my taste. I only really check back in when oneof my old groups does something again. But I'm basically and estranged parent checking in on children.

I am trying to stop watching kpop because, it's distracting me from my daily life and schooling. Kpop is getting toxic, as in kids debuting at ages 9 and older.

I want to distance myself from Kpop. because recently it’s just become more toxic and very hateful. It’s always toxic but recently with Kpop idols not really singing, kids debuting early, body issues etc. we forget that idols are human. There was a time where I listened to kpop and only Kpop, more specifically bts for comfort. I was depressed and lonely. I had no friends. I would stay in my room and rarely get out. That’s was when I was 15, now I’m 20. I want to let go of the past because I’m no longer that depressed teen. It’s hard distancing myself from kpop because I’ve spent 7yrs being a kpop fan. When ppl meet me they know that I listen to kpop. I want to listen to other song than kpop. And try to figure out who am I.
