At my neighbors rock crawling course where he built a fun little waterfall to run though. Used a Sony Webbie HD cam(not impressed with the quality) recording at 720HD and trimmed to 6:59 with the freeware version of Media Cope.

What springs did you use for valves?
If I recall correctly I made my own by taking a ball point pen spring and stretching it straight then wrapping it around a small piece of alloy tubing.

How did you get the transmission to work so smoothly mine is very clunky and it does not like to work a lot of the times
3D printing is tricky. Make sure your bed is perfectly level and you’re operating at the right bed and extruded temperature. 2 CRITICAL things are the extruder temperature and the z offset. If the extruder temperature is too hot it will be stringy and will bind up the gears, if the z offset is too low it’ll smish the bottom layers and the gears won’t bind, too high and it won’t make a good bond to the heated bed.

way to cheap Caled. The building cost is arround 100 dollars + printer reperation and troubleshooting. I woud say 400 dollars for the engine and 400 for the transmission.

so heres a cool idea, how about casting it with aluminum in a green sand mold. so printing it with pla then using the pla to create the mold, im sure we can get an actual working model doing this??
