Fun fact for you the winchester model Winchester 37 Was actually designed by hubert cooey the son of herbert cooey of the canadin H.W Cooey arms and machine company (the cooey model 84 single shot shot guns) whitch was aquired by Winchester in the late 50s they continued to make cooey guns untill the 1980 when Winchester Cooey became Winchester canada. Winchester kept making the cooey model 84 as the Winchester model 37 in the usa from the late 50s into the 90s or early 2000s. All model 37s were made in newhaven Connecticut but it was the same canadian cooey design that had been in production in canada since 1947. After Winchester cooey became Winchester canada they continued to make the the model 37 in canada as the model 37A and 370

I had a T/C 45cal Omega with a Bushnell 4500 elite scope I lost in a house fire about 10 years ago. I loved that setup. I replaced it with a wolf v2 50cal. My favorite way to hunt is still hunting the thick lowlands around the huge swamp behind my house and I wouldn't trade my wolf for my T/C I lost in the fire if ya paid me. It's compact which makes it a great brush gun it's accurate with a pretty amazing trigger right out of the box and just a great reliable gun all the way around. Give one a shot you won't be disappointed.

I inherited one of these when my grandad passed away along with a Marlin 49a, Winchester 60a, and Winchester 72. He was a firearm trainer in the Marines during WWII, and those were his guns he used to train with, so the story goes. How much kick does the Iver Johnson have? I've honestly been scared to try this one out lol. I did a deep cleaning and restoration on it, nothing that would take away from it's original state. It's a beautiful gun though.

I clean out houses/junk removal out of VA . I just found a Winchester 37 16GA in a clean out for an older lady who was just looking to get rid of some extra stuff for a bit of cash. Got it for 50 bucks . It was a bit oxidized, but upon closer inspection, it's all original . And, a bit of light (very light) sanding, a bit of oil, and some elbow grease , I brought this thing back to it's original glory. Not a bad pickup for 50 bucks, I gotta say. Barrel is so clean , it looks like a fun house mirror . They made shit to last back then. Extremely greatful for my find/purchase 👍 👍 👍

I have a winchester model 37 in 12 gauge. Amazing shotgun. Winchester bought Cooey arms out of Canada. The Cooey single shotgun was super popular in canada. Then they started producing it under winchester name in US as model 37. These guns were produced in 410, 28 gauge, 20 gauge, 16 gauge, and 12 gauge even under winchester name. The smaller gauge models are harder to find and command higher price especially when in good condition.

I actually grew up around people who promoted gun safety. But in some cases, that is not a fact. And gun safety is a big part of being a gun owner. It’s your responsibility. To practice safe handling of guns. And I think if you’ve never been brought up around gun, safety, or someone who has taught you proper gun safety. Then yes. But in saying that. I don’t like the government brought into anything. When it comes to my guns. But I do think it should be recommended. To a new gun owner, who has never owned a Firearm. To take a few classes to promote gun safety. Thanks for the awareness.👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤜💥💥💥🤜

We agree 100% AL . The government just messes things up with anything they get involved in. You at right about everything in our opinion. Thanks for the comment and God bless buddy !!!!
