Them wings are looking good. I have a mango habanero rub by John Henry that's good without the spice. I add some crushed red pepper to it just for spice.

My only issue with grill turkey wings is they stiff be tough
@@XORGNMN are you saying the skin be tough? If so, that’s fixed with high temps.
@@GrillandSmokeBBQ that’s exactly what I’m talking about. I usually end up boiling them first then smoking them on the grill to try and get them tender
Another method is wrapping them with foil them with a little butter after they are done. A like ribs. Then once they are tender remove foil and put them back to get the skin texture you want.
Nice cook!! I have to try the competition rub. Garlic jalapeño is one of my favorites.

@@MrDoubleblades I let it air dry in the fridge for about 2 hours. Then let the remaining moisture be the binder.

@@mrth8264 if you’re wanting fall off the bone tender, just cook them to a higher finish temp.

I like the fact that you did em whole. Most videos cut em in half, but I want that whole jalapeño. We just cut the tops off and stuff em, but the stem still on looks really cool. Thank you, great video. Doin em on a rack on top of a sheet pan is a good idea too, no mess on your grill grates. Also, if you wanna kick it up a notch, add whatever leftover smoked meat you have into the stuffing. It could be leftover ribs, brisket, beef ribs, pork butt. Literally anything.

Thank you for your demo . Your background music is annoying. I am planning to make a whole bird and plan to Spatchcock it . Use a BBQ mop or brush to apply moisture / glaze or use a spray bottle loaded with a soda or beer . What temp did you have it at ?

Thinking about trying barbecue vinegar sauce when I wrap my baby backs as well. See what added flavor it gives. No butter and brown sugar? Killer Hogs by Malcolm Reed is the sauce.
@@mrbrad41471 I usually use butter and brown sugar and a few other things, but I wanted to see how good it would be on its own. I wasn’t disappointed, but I will add the other stuff to it next time to take it over the top 😊
@GrillandSmokeBBQ I'm going to try your way without the brown sugar and butter to see how they taste. When I use the brown sugar and butter it almost makes the ribs to tender and the meat falls off the bone. I like them to stay together and have a little tug like yours😋
