I live in a 55+ and that’s so far from reality. The depiction of the men was unrealistic too.

The residents talk about cancer?

I was 46 years old and stayed at 55 plus community in Florida. And I was in the swimming pool, that was what they are talking about, where is this person and that person, and it was all about death. It was depressing. My mom tried to plant a small garden or have plants in front of the camper sunroom area, but some nosey neighbor ratted on her. I felt I was not wanted, and my mom thought she was not wanted. She told me she went to the gatherings and did not like it. She said they seemed to be old farts. LOL Then I moved, but when she had lung cancer, I was able to move in with her and care for her. Nobody seemed to care. But the church I went to cared. I am not 55 yet, but I was THANKFUL. God had me get a taste of it. This video is 100% right on. I lived it, and boy, I drove me nuts and my mom. When she fell, the land phone in the house did not work when I was calling 911 on that one broken phone. Impressive enough, 5 minutes flat, that Ambulance was there. They do have incredible hospice and care for older folks in Florida. I feel my state, Massachusetts, can't beat Florida's more aging population's health care. Health care folk are friendly people there. When she died they were nice enough to help me. But I don't like Florida, and I know I avoid 55 plus communities because I think its a real estate to get property if some folks don't have anyone or the older folk loved ones end up selling property cheap because that Home Own Association and LOT rent is expansion. And when hurricanes they all have to evacuate. And tornadoes can easily take those mobiles homes away from the small tornadoes. @@arizonas55pluscommunities
