soo glad I found your video- I did not get instructions & the kobalt website manual left out many steps on putting on the chain & how & why to adjust the bar1st then the order to tighten knobs and how to asses it all---. None of the other sites i looked at included all the steps. Thank you thank you thank you:)

I just bought this yesterday and I love it. I haven’t used a router table since shop class in high school over 30 years ago. I completed some free hand routing projects but I needed a router table to complete a small project that freehand would be dangerous to complete.

I love my Kobalt 80-volt brushless 18" chainsaw with a 5-ah battery. - - I have (2) Kobalt 80-volt 18" Bar Chainsaws and use (2) 5 AH Batteries. Using it on a Southeast LA farm of 18 acres of tall large pine trees that was devastated by a Hurricane with a tornado. most of 10 acres nearly all down. The chainsaw has. been working great even cutting huge logs and trees up to 20"+ logs and it works like a great. And NO more pulling and pulling to start a gas-powered chainsaw. My first 80-volt 18" Bar Chain saw with a 5-AH Battery and charger was $400 in Jul 2021 and just this year bought the second one.

When I'm cutting some wood it's smoking at the same time making my finished cut look burnt. what would the problem be..

Im just getting into a bit more serious wood working and am making a bunch of wooden tool boxes and typically id just cut out the end sides with a jigsaw and use my spindle sander to creep up on the curved line for the pattern but Im looking for something easier/faster and a more even finished end result. Not sure if this router table would fit that bill or not. I use a template and can get really close to the pencil lines with the jigsaw but the sanding can take 20 minutes or so and often leaves flatter edges here and there....then more sanding. If I used my jigsaw to get close then used my template on top of the new piece would this make shorted and better results?

I just bought mine today. Thanks for your informative video. If I get stuck during the assembly, I'll refer to your video again. I'll be using it to mainly prune my trees. I also want to reduce the height of my peach tree so I won't need a ladder to harvest the fruit that's too high for me to reach! Trolls be damned! 😝

Did you mount it to the table?

I've read reviews on the Lowe's website for this Kobalt 24v inflator that it has a parasitic drain issue. Allegedly, it drains whatever battery is left connected to the inflator. Have you experienced this or any other issues with this inflator?

you got it for 35 dollars because they are junk and Lowes knows it. Ask anyone who has one of these after one year. Instead of admitting these are junk Lowes just puts them on sale to dump them to unsuspecting consumers.

The inserts that come with the table are not level with the table, causing pieces to get stuck when moving along the fence. Any suggestions to fix this?

Question, my 10 “ miter saw is leaving a snag on back end of cut, all adjustments have been made but still leaves snag, any suggestions?

I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

Watch out hitting the base of the little tree trunks with the weed trimmer when they are young unless you want to kill them. I love my trimmer, blower ANNNNNNNNND the mower! The mower used 5AH batteries and I also use them in my trimmer and blower for longer time and it's noticeable. Thanks for the review! It just keeps reminding me of my great choice in cordless items.

At 3:10 he said you can use it with the blade locked - you can’t. Your work will not go against the fence.

I like it except for the miter slot. those "T" type slots make it hard to make or find miter bar for jigs
