It seemed like nobody could do right that night Our other performances were/are much better It is what it is but the negativity wasn't needed

Thank you for the kind words it's appreciated. I loved that song the first time I heard it in the early 80s. I just crossed my mind to try playing and singing it. I suppose if I would have listened to the original before I covered it I might have gotten closer on the tempo. I do songs randomly and by wild hairs so if you'd like to check it out I have a TH-cam channel that I put lots of music on that's all family and friends and me playing music. I understand that I might not be everyones cup of tea but I've received more positive than negative comments. Thank you so much for your kind words . I've never heard it covered either. I've loved it since I first heard it about that same time frame and I bought the cassette tape. About 2010 I learned to play guitar and have been experimenting with songs to see what I could sing and play. I was fortunate to be able to do this one. I have a TH-cam channel with many other videos including songs with a few bands. Please explore and enjoy! Rick

Thanks for watching and the compliment...I'll look at less reverb in the future. The sounds kinda go by wild hairs. Today was a big room sound. Many of the videos I do are songs I've run through a couple times only. I'm just hanging out in the music room trying different songs I don't put much work into them.
