It's different. It's offbeat. It's most definitely unconventional in its presentation and delivery. It possesses supreme visuals. Some call it a mess and say it's unbalanced. It is, in fact, a beautiful mess and is perfectly unbalanced. It's a Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece.

I'm not a fan of body horror, or horror in general. but man, I went to see this on Saturday, and it has gone right into 2nd place in my Top 5 of the year. What a film!

His Alice in Womderland wasnt a live action remake of the disney film so much as a live action of the book.

Mary's need to bring the novel into the screen seemed to threaten a radical defense of the book's malignant sarcasm but most of the movie just sits there, looking at trouble rather than looking for it. It's a little smug to exist at all. There is literally a scene involving a show-and-tell between business cards where Patrick gets jealous which is honestly a sharp substitute for penis envy. The director isn't really making an intriguing point as much as she is forging and exercise in getting away with murder. That bleak sense does permeate the movie but the director takes Patrick's behavior too seriously for the story to resonate as the satire it is. I prefer movies about characterization and as far as I can tell, Patrick doesn't have that. this film labels itself as a "comedy" and "satire" but I don't see anything that resembles wit. The director's approach to the book is dismayed as if she reached the final pages and decided that Patrick needed to be stopped. Cult devotees will chew it up which is fine but for me it's a buffet without much aftertaste. My personal score is 5/10

How do they keep giving the Director a budget I will never understand......with so much demonic murder in USA this film is opioids to ambitious serial killers and mass murders.....good job Hollyevil.

So you did a great job with the review! I told some of the scenes with my dad what happens in this movie and he thought it sounded kind of creepy! I saw this movie as well! Going into this blindly having knowing nothing about this movie! I was thinking of this idea for an episode where the main character’s dog gets stolen by two cult leaders who are naked and the cults supports a tree! Also I wanna name the episode “the house of the cult” You can guess what’s that’s a reference to! Also after the main character kills the man cult leader the woman cult leader eats his heart and turns into a creepy angel to kill our main character!

Watched it last night. Excellent. Makes you think the whole way through, especially the end.

Liked this more than Poor Things. Had more to say and the 3 different stories kept it interesting

It's not the film or even the length that has crashed takings but the world economy with high interest rates , makes going to the movies with a family untenable for most, once slushies and popcorn are added to the list of dinner and lunch beforehand. Miller is king and will skip dinner for him anyday!

Do *NOT* insult your intelligence by watching Tim Burton's version. There was so much talent wasted on that film. I was working at a theater in Times Square on opening night of that movie, and I just vividly remember all of the people coming up and asking for a refund from my manager 😂.

This movie was so BLOODY FUN! The actress of Abigail was insanely good and the movie was so funny. I has an absolute blast with it and cannot wait to watch it again. Going to be apart of my halloween viewing for years to come for sure. Great review!

Just came across your channel my guy, this video is really well put together and edited man, seriously, be proud! I have a small channel too and my videos are pretty much caca, I'm genuinely jealous of how simple but clean this video is. Good job bro, keep it up, you'll pop for sure!!

Just be aware that this movie is a movie about the "journalists" desire to "get the shot" and interview the President. The war is merely a back drop for that end. It could have just as easily been about a major natural disaster or a major economic collapse or alien invasion or biological disaster. This movie gives no credence to the cause of the "Civil War" it's backstory or even factual realities other than a few mild combat scenes and the horrors that come with any war. In fact the movie tames down what would actually happen to a society and the animal instinct that would pervade every corner of the country. Now granted A movie couldn't possibly detail such horrors and still be about this journalists journey, but just know going in, you are not going to get a realistic perspective of what another American civil war would look like any more than if you watched a child's soccer game and think you know what a major league men's rugby game would be like. Just imagine a dog tilting his head at hearing a strange noise. Yeah, it's like that.

I loved the sound, visuals and war action. The characters were bland for me though and I could have used some more context.

I’ve just came back from Ukraine to photograph animals in a war zone and the amount of similar images and things that happened in that movie was such a huge impact on me with what I seen The fact some people are choosing to slate the movie for not being what they wanted versus what it is was such a shame, it’s an amazing movie and being as I kind of have the same experience, I can’t do anything but praise it

This is probably the worst theater experience I’ve had all year. The jokes never landed and the ending is one of the most dumbest endings I think I’ve seen in awhile. It’s a shame as I really enjoy Geraldine viswanathan.

This was another unique film. It was entertaining but, it lacked scares and most of it was like the last 10-15 mins of the film. It wasn’t bad, but I think it’s a little overrated.
