What I remember of "Man of Steel" is once it was out, the movie was constantly compared to "Return of Superman" which I've seen both movies. Where Return of Superman was allegedly supposed to be a sequel to the Christopher Reeve movies, it was a decent attempt but it didn't have the "magic" of the 80's movies. Man of Steel was it's own Superman movie and the problem it has was it came out too soon after Return of Superman that the 2 movies were compared to each other. Neither movie could stand on its own, at least not online.

Superman is a man of two worlds, having lost one and seeking to find his place in the new world. He helps those in need and fights against injustice, being a friend to those who have no friends, while he himself carries a heavy sense of loneliness. Superman is a role model, and this movie should make people stop disrespecting him.

We should see Clark’s suit getting more and more damaged throughout the movie like Batman’s suit in the Arkham games. Superman’s costume almost never gets damaged or even torn but it should if Clark’s mom, a farm girl with limited and low quality resources made it. The dceu suit was made with materials from a highly advanced alien race so it made sense that it only got damaged when doomsday killed Superman
