Regarding Arena fights - Imagine just using the quickest move available which was the 'Sonic Jab'. You would interrupt your enemies for once instead of getting constantly interrupted. And didn't you think why despite applying all those different techniques, your Digimon was spamming just one apart from the first hit? After getting the 'Attack' command, you never tried 'Your Call' command ever again. Eh. EDIT: Oh, so you finally realized that Sonic Jab was your best option. Congrats. 'Poison Powder' should be your second move used while fighting more than one enemy at once. EDIT2: See, even with "solo" 'Poison Powder' you did great against Garurumon. Why it took you so long to test all the moves is astonishing for me. Especially when it was the default move you got after digivolving to Ninjamon.

How much more time do you need to realize that HP & MP, Defence and Brains are also important??? Especially the first two...

For someone who calls himself "a professional gamer" you are very unobservant. But I'm enjoying your struggles nonetheless 😅

if i may, green deck's advantage is that they easily digivolve because they give high DP. BUT that's their only advantage. personally, i would suggest partner with veemon or creating a red/ fire deck. offense is the best defense.

Revisited this during Covid and beat it. Still holds up. Istanbul is still the coolest map because you can trap the enemy on your side of the river and just clear their side out with no resistance.

Easily one of the best strategy/RTS games on Sega back in the day.

This was such a surprised bargain game when I bought it back when it was in stores. Didn't expect it to have such a PC-game feel. The end credits remind me of games where the programmers quite intentionally went by silly nicknames. You see that a lot on Neo Geo games -- apparently this was just a thing for Japanese programmers in this era.

Rome is no joke, the enemy starts out strong. Even when you kill the enemy, they come back starting strong. It takes a long time to build up enough to survive fighting.

glad to see someone else out there still has appreciation for this title... so many [unintentional?] dynamics / tactics to it; a friend of mine would battle each other for days and days, swaying back and forth between land and sea supremacy, negotiating treaties, on and on... lamenting the loss of mega-powerhouse fighters, etc. the history behind the development of this intrigues me: seems as though it was maybe developed for PC and then adapted to Genesis? who knows...

From around the 1 hr 30 minute mark the audio seems to have completely cut out; I tried adjusting the volume settings of both TH-cam and my speakers, just in case, but they were fine with other videos I selected.
