in oposite of your first , I'm hate build decks, but wont like to play precons either, with that I watch videos, like your Hawkeye campaign, and copy the deck, this make the game very fun for me. The others are a very good tips, and I will try all of then in my next games. Thanks.

Definitely gonna try this with She Hulk, but in expert mode. Probably with Captain Marvel, Black Panter, and Spider Man too lol. Seems very fun. Good Game!

Fun scenario. Now I need to get the Vision hero pack

The game is still fresh for me since I just got into expansions and have years of content to get through. But what I have in my mind for the future is: - Give your Pocketverse campaign system a try - Revisit old villains with different mod sets and standard sets - Randomize the hero / aspect / villain / mod set using MC randomizer - Try to make decks using underutilized "binder fodder" cards (Otherwise know as Jank decks) - come up with a card drafting system and play through a campaign with a randomly drafted deck. Draft a few more cards to replace some of the existing cards after each scenario.

I'm completely with you on the first two. I never use precons & don't really net deck other than to try some things that look odd & I always lose with them. I'm not a relentless deck builder though I'm looking for that one deck that I can play 50+ times against all the villains (or more likely against the ones I like multiple times). With 3 I tend to use new heroes against the new villains but also other old decks I have lying around (and since I mostly play online now that's all of them). I will have tested the new guys against old villains so they are not brand new. I never set goals other than hope to make a deck I love to paly against everything.

Very nice points. I also don't netdeck, because deckbuilding; not only for heroes, but also for villain; is half the pleasure I get from this awesome game. But I always play the villains with recommanded mod set multiple times before giving them new modular sets to improve their encounter deck, while for heroes I skip, the precon 90% of the time. I usually follow your point 2 and 3 too. We did break the rules for Sinister Motives! we went Gwen and Miles in campaign mode for our first playthrough. I don't regret it, but I agree, it leads to some misplays, or losses that we could have avoid if we had stick to the rules, to play familiar heroes for first plays, like we always do. I know my buddy like to set some long term goals for his solo plays, like defeating every villain, with Captain America lol, but I'm more into overcoming specific challenges like "deckbuilding for Adam Warlock" or "Can Hawkeye defeats this villain with those modsets", etc. Overall, I like to go with the flow. But we mainly play two players, and we always deckbuild together for campaign, so that each decks can specialize and cover the other. And that is what makes the game fun for us. New synergy, interaction, and lots of creativity that keeps the game fresh.

I used to love Risky Business, and hate Mutagen Formula. I feel like this is a hot take, but I like the fact that you have to control the situation instead of just fighting a villain with a ton of minions

I’ve selected 10 heroes, 10 villains (with required modules) and a few extra modules. I can easily set up a new game whenever I want to play. (I usually build a new deck and play against three or four villains to see what I think.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit frustrated to see Hela as a final boss of your many campaign. I like the Hela scenario, very thematic, but I think it is better as a mid campaign or even intro campaign villain. So I hope you will do other pocket verse video to highlight your work. As I told you in a previous video, I enjoyed playing it with my buddy, and I want people to see how simple and epic it can be!

More Shatterverse play sounds great to me! I like the concept of the weaker Thanos for thematics, it makes for a fun finale after collecting all the stones. Great idea!

The game 7 text is both clearer and expanded, and the REASON for fighting Thanos is made more clear (to get the Gauntlet from him so you can snap the universe back together). The PDF also has a better-looking Infinity Stones Environement card than seen in the video!

The music adds nothing but makes watching and listening both harder and more annoying. Please consider just fading it out when you're actually playing.

To be A-Tier, she has to be in the top 18 heroes. I haven’t spent 20+ games with her, but that seems unlikely.

The deal breaker, on top of eveyrthing you said, is that they get discarded to your discard pile as a boost effect, or if they are mill from the encounter deck. That mean you pay three, and maybe it will go right back to your discard pile: no deck thining, no encounter card cancel, no bonus effect. That is like Taxing yourself for free lol. I can see an argument for expert II or Heroic Mode with tone of surge or extra encounter cards, but in those difficulties, you might prefer buy upgrade, support or ally, than gambling "just in case" lol.

Still missing a few packs from wave 6 might turn to be my Favorite for the reasons Rey said in the comments. For now, I will say Wave 1, like jonathan pickles says in the comments: lots of great heroes such as captain america, black widow, thor, miss marvel, and all the core set heroes which I like too. For my least favorite, I don't know if it is wave 2, 3 and 4. Both have great heroes, but also some disappointing ones. So if I have to pick I would say 4 like you, but by a pinch. Wave 5 is an interesting one. I think they are all solid and powerful, no disappointment at all, but none of them really clicked with me. Nova and Gwen can do some really awesome explosive turns, and those are my favorite from the wave, but I think I do prefer play an Avengers, Guardians or X Men than any of this wave. Weird, huh?

They were often life savers when doing expert 2 GMW. It’s funny because I loved them, but they really only work when you have 3 or 4 of them. So Adam is the only person that can use them effectively or you give one to each player in a 3+ player game. In one or two player single aspect games, wouldn’t touch it. But also, while they are really nice to break the s2 surge-athon, they don’t work well at easier levels

The best effect of them are that they are removed from the game when revealed. So you can focus on better cards in your deck. Nice for deck thinning. Lol.

I'm just cracking open Adam Warlock but these look to me as typical "binder fodder"s. They should have more immediate effects or providing double the benefit to be viable. Even if I were to use them in a jank deck, I would wait until the mid/late game when the encounter deck has fewer cards remaining. Playing them with Scarlet Witch may also be a consideration?

Please ramble haha. I orefer content creators to do videos like this more so than gameplay. With that said my favorite wave is the x force wave. Domino being the Cream of the crop

Is definitely say my fave would have to be Wave 6...so many cool Mutants like Colossus, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Gambit...Rogue...Kitty, Jean Grey..geez, are all fantastic! A mix of really fun new mechanics brought to the table as well as sentimental favourites...my least favourite would be Galaxy's Most Wanted...for a long time I had no interest in playing Guardian characters (though that has changed now)...as far as frequency goes..it's still my least played band of heroes

This really depends on the whether I use the realistic criterion of most favourites or the less meaningful one of most I do not like/overall impression. That's because nowadays I can & do tend to play only the characters I most want to so "quite like" and "hate" are pretty much the same. Sinister Motives has the most heroes I would not really miss, even though I quite like them all. Wave 1 is twice as big and has more heroes I really like than any other - duh. If I went by most heroes I do not like then least favourite is probably GMW though the ones I don't like are not the same as yours. Fewest that I dislike is probably oddly Sinister Motives...

That's IronHeart in a nutshell to me. At one point you kill the villain without noticing it "oh... he's already dead? What happened?". She feels very anticlimatic, beside the fact the build process is actually fun to do. Very paradoxal hero to me. Fun to play, until the game end lol.

All those wave7 heroes feels a little overtune compare to what an "average mc heroes" looks alike, but it also feel like they tried, and maybe managed, to "overtune" them in an interesting way. Cable, Domino, and Psylocke appeal me in one way or another, unlike Spider Ham or Iron Heart who I found a bit "boring" for some reasons after playing them a few times.

I made a mistake late which would have had zero effect on the game (but I still hate making mistakes).

That's a great list of cards and heroes! My favorite heroes from there are Cable and Psylocke, but really enjoyed Angel and Domino a lot, too, and X-23 almost as much. Deadpool was my least favorite, but I still had fun with him. Like Rey-Plays-Games mentioned, I also typically build out Deadpool to enjoy the process. 🙂
