My dad and Colin Bourne were sent from London by WH Smiths Wholesale News. Dad filmed around Peterborough and in the temporary building used to set up the newspaper distribution depot in the yard of Peterborough railway station.

I would love to know more about this film. I've been researching Oswell Blakeston but never knew he was involved in this.
Oswell Blakeston was not involved in this. I believe the script was printed in a magazine for use by amateur film makers

Good clear film from 1953, well done indeed. Lots of sailing (as it always was in those times) up on the Northern Broads. Great stuff. Many thanks for uploading this from the year that I first experienced the Norfolk Broads myself.
