Ali, a hardworking young man who has just returned from military service, decides to build a new house for his family and provide them with a better life. A few days after his return, Karim, Ali's stepfather, joins the family and secretly proposes to a girl for Ali. However, when he tells Ali about it, Ali refuses the proposal. This disagreement leads to tension between them, and eventually, Karim, in anger, kicks Ali out of the house.
