    Hi sir! At 19:32, I noticed that you calculated the Total Length by using ILength*IQuantity. I followed your method by copying the Length column and adjusting the DataField and Text to ILength*IQuantity. However, when I use the Material List Summary, it gives an error and doesn't work. Could you please explain why this is happening? Did I make a mistake somewhere? I really appreciate your help.

    Hi Murray, At 3:13, it seems like rotation is performed with a 3D connection mouse? How to install Advance Steel drivers for such a mouse?

    • @defaus
      @defaus 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are correct, I do use a 3D mouse. I believe you just go to the their website to download the drivers. Just a side note, that some people in the last few weeks have had noted issues with the 3D mouse drives or firmware. Not sure of the exact reasons but I would check the forums to see what others have found.

    Good video! Suggestion, please use zoom to where the cursor is located. Probably the screen where you are can be hidden and just appear when needed.

    • @defaus
      @defaus ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback, I agree I need to look at making that easier to follow. I am planning to try to use a different screen resolution to my daily working setup for recording so hopefully that will help as well. I will look into cursor tools and zooming tools as well.

  • @f.c1658

    Thanks for the video, I recommend using a software that follows the cursor and zoom to it. It is difficult to see it.

    • @defaus
      @defaus ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback. I will look into some tools to assist with cursor tracking. I believe I also need a different display setting for when I am recording as the 4k screen when on a 43" monitor is too small for viewing.

    Hi Murray can you recommend a video on changing default label text where what the person shows actually works, and possibly without the jibber jabber. In other words straight & to the point. Oh and without all the irritating ahhhh's & uhhhh's. I've done 4 different courses on ADVST and they all stay away from the important stuff. I did an anchor layout and I am trying to change the default label font. I follow the instructions of the video's and nothing happens. It's as if they are leaving out a step intentionally.

    • @defaus
      @defaus ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Matt, I can certainly have a look at that for you. I am only new to creating video content so still on the learning curve. Can you provide some more information as to what you are seeking to achieve? It sounds like you are seeking a custom label for Anchor Layouts. I'd agree there isn't a great deal of information out there that covers the more complex areas.

    Hello, can you tell me how I can increase the diameter of the axle circle, in advance steel??

    • @defaus
      @defaus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Everton, thanks for your question. You might need to expand the question for me. I am not sure what you are referring to with 'Axle Circle'. Ahhh, do you mean Axis Bubble/Balloon/Circle? From memory, I believe there are 2 ways to change the size of the Grid Balloon. From MT you can either choose the size of the balloon or set the balloon to be a specific size larger than the text itself.
