Hi Graham ,I use a flysky i6s transmitter with ia6 receiver. Battery is 7.4 v from a Wpl truck which just fits under the engine tunnel. Or you could velcro it under the cab roof. ESC is a cheap 40 amp with fwd/rev/brake without casing, battery and esc are freely available on amazon or ebay

Got chassis ready built from Aliexpress look up Qin24 this the brand name. Resin cab comes from KFS (kit form services) needed a it of adapting, then your own choice of radii gear

Where do you find those tag axle wheels? I'm looking to build an r620 topline with tag, putting together a list of bits. Cheers!

Chassis comes ready to run with motor& steering servo, so esc/receiver of your choice. Battery + cab which can be italeri , emek or other. This one is going to be 6x4 scania tipper using emek cab & tipper body, with linear actuator for tipper. With sound unit & paint probably £250 finished. You can,t even buy a tamiya kit for that

Much more digging power with quicker movement kit comes esc,s for each track motor for proportional travel speed

Yes ,original neck is too short. Best buy 2 trailers to make 1. I also put a short extension at rear ramp to give it more overhang

@healeysvt2008 used the lesu rear suspension up grade with a trailer axle for the lift axle, then a heavy duty servo mounted in the chassis pulls link on the tag axle. Similar to the real scanias in the days before air suspension, try and do a video at some point

Hi , I used 2 trailers to make one , ie I extended the neck, added in a deck extension /4 th axle ,then cut & added the rear overhang with all extensions cut from the donor trailer

It,s my own design ,not a kit, I just worked it out

Depends on the length of chassis ,I used 100mm which is tight for space , I am using 50mm on current build

Hi , I have now dismantled this truck but I used an Actuonix L16 linear actuator(plugs into a Rx channel) pushing a home made roller / lever. The actuonix come in different stroke lengths /gear ratios , preferably 150 to 1 for tippers. I hope to have a video up of my current build soon which uses this same tipper body but with an Actuonix / lesu lifting mechanism

Hi Wheels are tamiya part no.56519 and lesu tyres s-1214. May do another video once I have finished current models in build. the cab base is cleared of any obstructions and simply slides down the existing CC01 body mounting poles with appropriately positioned holes drilled in the cab base . An "L" shaped bracket supports it at the front behind the bumper. cheers kev

yes , lego actuators are a cheap easy option , totally reliable so far !

No , the plastic lift cylinder mounts (in Blue) are feet from an aluminium ladder filed and drilled to suit. I also used meccano for brackets , brass tube and 3d printer lead screw and nut as a drive rod from the micro servo which gives a very smooth lift action .Much trial and error getting things to work. I will be putting up a video after new year of the finished (almost) model which is working very well.
