That looks a pretty good sort of set up you got there. I've been in the marine industry for the last 56 years and one of the biggest killers of any boat trailer is salt water in particular the stub axles. They rust and end up destroying the seals. I don't know how good they are but I believe there is stainless steel stubs you can get along with hubs, rotors and calipers. For the money you have invested there I would have gone the extra and a snatch pulley on the winch rope. Other than that , What a ripper. Fuel tanks, a huge winner. Do you have a wet ride in the boat? That's a different shape bottom. I like that. Love the whole set up. Safe trails to you both.
Thank you for your feedback. I do see the stainless steel Hubs used in the USA. There is a limited amount available here in Australia but I just haven’t gone down that road yet. We are very impressed with the ride of the Aluvan boat. It’s ride is a lot drier than previous boats.
Hi guys the trailers look great, now I have a 4.9m and with all the same gear on the trailer that you built for the 4.4 just wanting a ball point figure just so I got something to go off cheers. Nick
It is over 3 years since we had it built. Steel and aluminium prices never stop going up. You would be looking at over 26k.
Cheers bunjie cooking them tonight on the boondie 😊
Hey guys I love the content but I would really love it if you talked just a little bit more because it is kind of awkward in the silent moments
Were are you from dear
Thanks for the video mate! Caught my first trout ever yesterday down in SEQ (they’re very rare down here) and used this video to get the wings out. Tight lines! 🎣
Nice catch, the wings are very tasty, well worth cooking up, enjoy🍽
@@appetite4thewild994 Thanks mate, cooked them up fresh for lunch and wow - delicious!! 👌
This is one of the only ways i would eat veggies as a kid

Are these available through any dealer in the U.S.? Australia always makes the coolest adventure things, severely lacking here in the United States.
Sorry but he only sells direct to the customer and is based in North Queensland. Yes we do have some cool adventures in Australia, we are lucky we have so many places that are still wild.
Old butcher skills coming out there Dwane
You need to put the trailer in the water
I was hoping you took the boat back up and took the leg support off 😂
Looks yummy 😊 thanks
Nice one!
G’day, with the Kabana after smoking can you eat straight away or do they still need to hang in curing cabinet? AW

great instructions on cleaning the crabs, cheers
Great recipe mate, what pan are you using on the Choofer ?
Thanks, it is the 15" pan from Aussie Oven Co. You can get a lid for it and makes it great for camp fire pizzas. The lid also fits their 15" camp oven. You can find them on facebook.
Fantastic video mate, really enjoyed that. Done properly . Could you please tell me what your knife is, Cheers.
Been wondering and google couldn’t answer me. How long can you keep organ meat out before putting in a cooler during a hunt if you plan on saving it?
There is a lot of variables in the air temperature when you take the animal. Treat it much the same as your meat and there should not be any problems. The heart can be cut open to remove any blood and lose heat quicker. If a creek with clean water is near you can wash the organs witch brings down its temp. I carry small meat hooks and hang the organs in a tree to cool down. But as always the quicker the meat is in a cooler or fridge the better. You would have to ask a meat scientist if the temp is 70f , how long would be safe.
You’re welcome. I meant to mention that when it comes to things going off trust your nose. We have a sense of smell for a reason if it smells bad it probably will be. It’s encouraging to see somebody else interested in the organs. Heart is my favourite meat , so many different ways to prepare it and they are all good.
Appreciate the info mate, the magical “endless info” of Google was no help lol
The people at Google don’t eat nose to tail 👍
Nice trailer!! Just wondering how the outboard support swings down? You didn't release it before you backed in and so I assume that you can do it from the front of the trailer?
Yes we removed the motor support bracket which is held into position with a pin. It is square alloy slotted into each other and the support at the back does have slight adjustment. You can change the height of the guide at the back to suit your boat by changing the length of the chain using a D shackle.
When your trailer costs as much as the boat sitting on it lol
Do you find a tandem set up better for the corrugated roads or does single axel handle better?
Most definitely the tandom is the way to go. We reduce tyre pressure as you do on the single axel which gives you a better ride when you hit the dirt. 200% better on washouts and rough tracks.
I'd never build anything Alloy for offroading or corrugations. They always eventually fail.
Good one Mate beautiful. Giving it a go and yes like l said. BEAUTIFUL..Thanks 👍
thank you
No trailer is "unbreakable" chief
Been to the Cape York and back, survived so far😂
@@appetite4thewild994 Not knocking your trailer which I think is a bloody ripper and looks very capable , but the Cape road is just another dirt road.
Looks awesome !!! 👍
Gday guys, awesome Trailer, do you mind sharing what it Cost? Thanks,
We had ours customised for our needs. You would be best off getting a quote from taite trailers but for a standard tandom trailer guessing around 25K
Awesome trailer. Can you give me a ball park figure what the cost was ? Looking to get one built for a 435 quintrex
It varies depending on single or dual axle and extras like fuel tanks and tool boxes. You are best off to call Dave at Barra Tracker Trailers 07 40954530
Awesome stuff,
TAKE IT UP TO CAPE YORK THEN TELL US IF IT SURVIVED 🤣 THE TRIP 😁
Well it has been to the Cape and back and the trailer preformed magnificently, we could not be happier with how it went.
The neck makes a nice stew didn’t see you remove it
What’s the difference with kabana, kabanossi and kransky
Not a lot, changing 1 or 2 ingredients . Some times a different size casing will give it a different name. If I was to put this mix in a small skin you could call it beer sticks.
Great video mostly mate, but just one tip to get all the meat off the animal. Instead of just taking the shoulders off, skin the whole front side of the deer, and then filet the all of the rib meat, shoulder meat, and neck all in one giant slab, you end up literally doubling the amount of meat you get off the front end. Also really wouldn't recommend using plastic bags, a good quality game bag or even a pillow case makes a world of difference in terms of keeping the meat cool, clean and dry. Plus you don't have to throw them away afterwards. Keep up the good work.
This is very well done! Thank you. Incredibly helpful
Was able to use this method this morning on a doe.
Top video. Easy instructions, step by step. Was looking for a recipe so, I'm making them now. Thanks Cameraman did great job too.
