We stayed one night at the famous Splügenpass. At the next morning the Avata 2 tried to climb some mountains and dived down the waterfalls there. On my trip around Tromsø, I discovered a beautiful frozen lake with mountains in the background. Naturally, I wanted to fly here. However, I had misjudged the distance to my destination. With a pre-warmed 1550 6S battery, I made the unexpectedly long journey across the lake to the mountain. Arriving at the end of the lake, I decided to continue the ascent to the top of the mountain. Found a nice ridge with a clear view to the top. The windy conditions pushed the BOB to the limit at times. There was a strong wind from the south and I decided to land early because the wind got stronger and stronger while the drone was out. The GoPro12 has some vibration issues with the BOB57. when did buy your integra?
April 2023 - are there any known issues with the first Integras?
Ottime riprese 💣💣💣
Wow 🤩! What a great flight 👏👏! Beautiful intro and perfect selection of music. Well done, bro 😎🤜🤛
Thank you so much 🙏🏼✌🏼

Nice one 🤩👏👏
Beautiful impressions 🤩👏👏
Wow, very scary 😱! Thanks for sharing and congrats that you got your bob back 🤙. I stay with my Goggles V2 - it’s a running system and for me nothing counts more than confidence in the gear - especially on long range trips.
Thank you! Totally agree with you! Confidence of the V2 is unbeatable 💪🏼
I noticed something similar occurring on the goggles 3, but don't try to reconnect. They need to fix this, because it's not normal. there's nothing like that on goggles 2 or V2.
Yes, I have heard about the problems with the Goggles 3. In my case it was a hardware failure. I never had a problem with my Goggles V2 for years...
@@flipsfpv I just sold my v2 and I'm looking for goggles for myself, I'll probably buy dji integra goggles. I think V2 are the best goggles I ever had.

Hey is it possible to power up GPS just from a USB power bank or a phone ? Please
Hi, yes you can power up the GPS module by an external power supply with 5V. Be careful with the polarity! Why do you want to power up the GPS module by powerbank or phone? For testing?
@@flipsfpvmy o3 air unit is always get very hot before the GPS locks to enought sats , most of the times it locks zero , some times it works but most of the times it does not , i tried to move it on all ports ( on betaflight )but it seems like gps only works when i plug in the battery , but then all the electric noise makes GPS ‘s work very hard to lock sats .. so thats it :/:(
It is a nazgul ECO HD with a m10 GPS and a blitz atf435 fc ( bnf quad)
Okay, I understand... that is annoying, if the GPS lock takes so much time or doesn't work... Which gps module do you use? Some people have had good experiences with shielding the cables from the GPS module to reduce the electric noise.

Cool video. What battery did you use for this flight? And what battery do you usually prefer when carrying a gopro12 with bob57?
Thank you! For this flight I used the FullSend 6S 3300mAh battery from iFlight. The Bob is quiet heavy with the GoPro and this battery, but okay. I also use a Tattu R-Line 6S 2200mAh battery for my flights with the Bob. Less flight time, but more agile...
@@flipsfpv Got it. In your opinion how does the 3300mAh and 2200mAh feel to fly. Sorry for asking too many questions. I basically have the same quad and have been using it for some time. I have been flying 1850mAh GNB batteries, which are fun to fly without GoPro, but gives only 3-4 mins with GoPro. So was thinking whether to buy a 2200mAh or 3500mAh DOGCOM (those are the only 2 options I have). Also I don't have a lot of mountains where I live, but I would like to surf and dive my quads on mountains whenever I get a chance. So which one of these batteries would you suggest I buy?
No problem! I was facing the same decision. If I have to choose, I will recommend the 2200mAh battery. You can get 7-8minutes flight time with some climbing. If you want to go higher and longer, go for a bigger battery like the 3300mAh.
Nice video! I was thinking of doing this very test but now I see I don't have to :P
video doesnt make any sense bro. if you use gyroflow on the first footage, it wont sake as well. gyroflow will take all the shakes out.
Your comment makes no sense, bro 🙃 The gyro data is manipulated by vibration, so the gyroflow output is shaking. There are several videos and reports about this problem with the O3 AirUnit out here on TH-cam and i.e. reddit. Just search for "O3 shaking video" or similar... I'm glad you haven't had any problems with gyroflow so far!

Hi, what frame version do you have? I have version 1.4 with the runcam, do you think I can follow your guide?
Hi, I have frame version 1.2 - I think the frame version 1.4 is already prepared for the O3 cam and Air-Unit according to the iflight website. So you can follow this guide, but don't have to print the custom mount 👍

Nice flight 💪
Hello Nazgul 🙌🏻
Great test, I had the same thought before. For long range the result is definitely clear.😊
Thank you! Yes, according to the data you should go with 4S for long range. However, I prefer 6S because I don't like the flight behavior with 4S 🙃
It seems so peaceful 🥰

Great comparsiogreat comparison ❤is the video feed is from Vista?
Thank you! Yes it's the video feed from the Vista recorded by the Goggles V2 :)
Looks great, good flight!

Hey bro. Am looking for a middle long range. Between bob57 and chymera 7. But I see that you had problems with go pro. Why? May be you have to use the stabilization of real steady
Hey @SalmaDrone, for this flight I used my GoPro12 without HyperSmooth. I stabilize the footage with Gyroflow. With the GoPro12 I have problems with the footage taken on the BOB57. With other GoPros I don't have the problem. Also I don't have problems with the GoPro12 on other drones... I think it is a bad combination of the GoPro, the mounting and the motor frequency.
@@flipsfpv wow. Interesting. Earing that now I really have a problem to decide between bob57 and chimera 7. Thank you my friend
😮
hi my friend. nice video. I did exactly in my Nazgul but doesn't work the gps. when I activate gps the motors stop.
Hello, thank you! Note that there is a "minimum distance to home" for the GPS to work. You can configure this distance in Betaflight. If your drone is within the minimum distance, the drone will stop its motors. If the drone is further away than the minimum distance, the drone will start gps rescue (if configured correctly).
@@flipsfpv thank you my friend. Minimum is 50 mts. May be is that. I will check.
@@flipsfpv great 🙌🏻💪🏻
So it works now? Great to hear that 😃
@@flipsfpv let you know. I Will try it bro
Awesome location 👌👀

Awesome flying with the BOB57! What batteries did you use and what is your average flight time?
Thank you! I use the "Fullsend 6S 3300mAh" from iFlight and can go up to 10-12 minutes when flying mountains in cold conditions. I also use the "Tattu R-Line 2200mAh 6S V1" reaching 6-8 minutes when moutain surfing. I fly with a GoPro Bones mounted to the BOB.
Its supposed to be plug and play?
It can be used "plug and play" without connecting SDA & SCL 👍
@@flipsfpv so why you solder? I have nazgul evouge vista kinda confused thought only quick connection
@Cinoo90 becaus I want to use compass and so I have to use SDA & SCL connection. Also I solder the other pins directly to the board to have all wires going the same way to the FC. And the connection-wire from the GPS comes with a plug only on one side. So I used the plug side to connect to the GPS module and the "open ends" to connect to the FC. Do you see any disadavantages from soldering the connection?
@@flipsfpvok so i can go without sda scl... RTH will work fine then?
@Cinoo90 yes, RTH works without SDA & SCL 👍

Guys….. is it necessary buy another plastic part to fit the gps?? In the iflight website There’s the option : GPS AND TPU PARTS. Please , someone Could answer me ? By the way i payed 45 U$$ by v2 Also.
Hi! Yes, unfortunately you will need to purchase another TPU/plastic part or print one yourself... You can find many 3d files for mounting the GPS on your drone online. I use thingiverse or cults3d most of the time. I had mine printed by a friend. In Germany there are also several shops that offer printing services. Or you can find someone in your country on a discord server or online forum.
Awesome 😮
Hi, thank you for sharing it’s great ! I saw that the connector between the O3 and the FC had connections, did you solder it because the O3 connector is not compatible with that of the FC ?
Hi, glad you like it! Yes I had to cut the connector cable and solder it to another connector. I used the original connector cable from the O3 and the old cable from the vista. You can see the wiring in the video at 1:11
😍
Nice one ❄️🤩❄️👍
Are u using only the 5,8 Ghz, or also the 2,4Ghz (Im a complete noob) And planing to buy this drone for small freestyle and cinematic floaty flying always with a GoPro on it.
Hi, you ask about the frequency of the video transmission? As far as I know, the DJI AirUnit and goggles manage the frequency automatically. I have no way to change it.
@@flipsfpv I meant also an upgrade antenna for The Goggles for O3 .. most Of The aftermarket ones are only 5,4 GhZ .. Are u flying the stock goggles antennas ?
@@VikSim_VS ah ok now I understand the question. I'm flying most of the time with the DJI Integra goggles with stock antenna. Range is about 2km without obstacles. For longer ranges I use the Goggles V2 with the TrueRC X²-AIR 5.8 MK II antennas: 5,8 Ghz. Better range, but the image quality is better with the Integra. The TrueRC X²-AIR 5.8 antennas are available for the Goggles 2, too. I think this is the best combo for cinematic long range flights 😀
@@flipsfpv i have The V2 goggles, but does the O3 also use the 2,4 ? I just don’t want to lose my drone while flying to a mountain or so, sometimes I see people not losing their signal while me on my FPV Dji drone it’s not possible. But the O3 has a stronger signal. Will Look after the antennas you mentioned
@@VikSim_VS the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands are used for reception (O3 AirUnit). However, only the 5.8 GHz frequency band is used for transmission. So you are good with the 5.8 antennas. If there is a probleme with the freqeuency, you will noticed this before flying far away 🙃
