It’s a great city!! I’d love to go back but I have to be honest… the queues are horrid lol but the sane in any city xx

Hi we books the stairs or steps at €70 minimum spend each. Would definitely recommend as we sat on cushions and had amazing views and little table but… it would have been great to sit near the dj but it wasn’t a big deal. The steps are the cheapest option for guaranteed seats.x

Hi there, I would go back again if the price was good!! I loved the location - so close to the new and old town and all the great beach bars near the aquarium. The hotel is large with a few pools and we thought the food was great! We had free wine beer and soft drinks added to our mini bar for free each day! The negatives are that we found there wasn’t enough seats for everyone in the bars and lobby at night and also near the different eateries outside by the pool in the afternoon and this was first week of April and just a few days after opening for the season! They might in busier months add more seating ?! Also there was long queues to have our evening meal most night going down the corridor outside the main buffet restaurant- I hate queues but we waited no longer than 15-20 minutes to go in and be seated. Our room had the best views but it was one of the old sea view rooms and definitely not 5star - lots of work is needed to modernise it. We just paid around £800 for 4nts all inclusive plus flights bags and transfers with easyjet for 2 of us. I have a hotel room tour video on my channel of this hotel if you haven’t seen it already. I liked it and would go back again but only if we got a good bargain. I’d say it’s more 4 star than 5 and done rooms need renovating.

Kos town is lovely and there’s a straight walking path from the town over to Lambi (where we stayed) it took us around 20 minutes to walk it and it’s flat all the way there. The beaches near Lambi are beautiful too. We didn’t go to Tigaki but we went to Kefalos for the day but just went to the beach there. And we did a sunset bus trip to Zia mountain village. Both really pretty. If you haven’t done so already, type Kos forum into Google search and click the Tripadviser Kos forum link… you might be able to get lots of information about accessibility on there xx

Hi there sorry about my late reply. No I haven’t but it’s high on my list to go back soon hopefully! The buses run from the main depot in Argostoli and travel all over the island. I printed off all the bus routes we wanted to do with the times from the Ktel Kefalonia bus website beforehand so we could plan our days. We didn’t go south of the island but travelled to many places daily and we found the buses great! The views are stunning and there’s free WiFi onboard too. Places like Asos and Fiskardo in the north had limited buses so we had to be mindful of being early at pick up times. We left Asos around 10 mins early and it was the last bus if the day going back to Argostoli! But other than that, the buses were on time and cheap too. Your best bet is to look at the Ktel website and see what routes are available now and go from there. You could also maybe do day tours through Get Your Guide that might help reaching a few more places. Hope you have a wonderful time x

Ooh thank you for your recommendation- my husband wants to go to Kos as he’s never been! I loved it there. I’m not sure what the song is as I get my music from Epidemic sounds but I’ve deleted the original unedited version of this vlog off my laptop which would have the title of the song… I’m sorry 😔 Aw thank you - I hope to spend more time on this channel this year and learn more skills etc take care xx

@@Clairegoeswhere If hubby has never been then you absolutely must take him and your beautiful Children. I have spent all of my adult life as a Holiday representative for companies such as Olympic Holiday, First Choice and Thomas Cook (To name but a few!). But It was all the reviews on Trip Advisor that sold the Ampavris Family Apartments to me. All but a handful of reviewers say that, ‘You go as a Guest and leave as Family!’. Back to your vlogs. I had to chuckle when you were at the Stefanos Volcano and there was a 4.7 magnitude earthquake and you were sitting on a concrete block. Then you looked over a saw ‘Smoke’ at the mini hills so you wanted to leave, The steam was coming from the 2 and they are actually vents that blows steam out at regular intervals. When I worked on Kefalinia aka Kefalonia we had a 5.2 magnitude earthquake and I was laying on my bed with my legs in on the wall because my ankles were super swollen. That was the first time I had experienced an earthquake, A small one at that, Granted but let’s just say it was a good job I had stocked up on toilet rolls a few days previous!! 😂😂😂 Since then earthquakes don’t really phase me. Kos and Turkey had a magnitude 7.4 earthquake on July the 21st 2017, Big enough to generate a tsunami. Much of the Harbour on Kos was uplifted by the earthquake. One thing you can say about the Greeks, They have some form of disaster, I.e earthquake, They fix 95% of the damage within a very short period of time. The only signs there has been an earthquake is the damage to the Mosque and the Monastery in Kos’ main square. I must go to Zia to witness for myself these Anazing Sunsets 🌆. When you do have some time look up @Ampavris Family Apartments. There are short videos but it will give you an idea of the fun and friendly Atmosphere the Stamatis Family offer they’re Guests. Xx

Yes it’s crazy isn’t it!!!! I think it’s on on of the main beaches. Yeah we were surprised with the prices, obviously cocktails in Little Venice and the sunset bars are on the pricier side but again not as bad as we thought they’d be. Xx
