Hey I want to ask whether immediately when you obtain your junior degree in medical laboratories do you become a medical scientist or a lab technician or do you need to further your studies to become one

Successful completion of the Bachelor of Health Sciences in Medical Laboratory Sciences will enable you to register with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
