Exploring Canadian Research and EnviroPod's Stormwater Management Solutions Webinar
Join us to learn from recent Canadian research, explore the benefits of the EnviroPod™ LittaTrap™ and EnviroBasin®, and gain the knowledge you need to elevate your stormwater treatment practices this construction season.
As the construction season approaches, now is the perfect time to ensure your stormwater management strategies are prepared to meet evolving challenges. This webinar will explore the latest Canadian research from the past year and demonstrate how EnviroPod’s innovative pre-treatment solutions can help you protect waterways, improve water quality, and meet compliance standards.
We’ll focus on our two powerful solutions:
The EnviroPod™ LittaTrap™ - A modular, easy-to-install catch basin insert designed to capture litter, debris, and pollutants at the source. Trusted worldwide with over 65,000 installations, it’s an essential solution for reducing trash and enhancing water quality.
The EnviroBasin® - An ETV-verified water quality inlet that effectively pre-treats stormwater runoff, helping you achieve superior sediment and pollutant removal while supporting Low Impact Development (LID) initiatives.
Discover how these cutting-edge solutions are being applied in real-world projects across Canada and how they can benefit your next construction endeavour. Whether you’re an engineer, contractor, or municipality, this webinar will equip you with actionable insights to enhance stormwater management this season.

Webinar: Gross Pollutant Traps - Performance, Evaluation and Approvals
มุมมอง 144หลายเดือนก่อน
Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) are a useful tool in the treatment and management of stormwater. Auckland Council requires a GPT in some applications as part of their Network Discharge Consent, and elsewhere in New Zealand GPTs are used as pretreatment and for retrofit applications. However, there is no definition of a ‘Gross Pollutant’, no regulation defining the design or performance characteris...
Webinar: The Nutrient Problem - Phosphorus and Nitrogen Removal in Stormwater
มุมมอง 87หลายเดือนก่อน
Nutrients in stormwater are often overlooked in New Zealand. Reduction targets for Phosphorus and Nitrogen have been set for some eutrophic lakes, but the impact of point source and non-point source discharges is still being understood across the country. Although there are proposed solutions for removing nutrients from stormwater, are they achieving the performance we are expecting? Join Jerem...
EnviroPod™ webinar "Critical Factors with Retrofitting Catch Basins to Trap Trash at the Source"
มุมมอง 55หลายเดือนก่อน
There are significant challenges with designing and installing suitable stormwater trash capture BMPs for placement inside municipal and privately owned catch basins. The primary concerns are the cost of installation and ongoing maintenance of trash-trapping devices that are designed to capture trash, plastic debris and other gross pollutants conveyed in runoff. In addition, there are further c...

New Zealand’s largest extensive living roof was installed at Mt Difficulty Wines in March 2012. Covering an expansive 900m², the brief was to incorporate local grasses and stonecrop sedum. A palette of grasses was chosen to suit the lightweight pumice-based growing medium. Locally sourced thyme and sedum were used for aromatics and colour respectively. I totally get the present pain of trying to quit smoking; it feels like climbing a mountain with a heavy backpack full of chains weighing you down. Every time you think you’re getting close to the top, those cravings hit you like a rockslide, and you’re back at square one. Philosophically, I used to think quitting was impossible, like trying to catch smoke with my bare hands. But then I realized that every step I took, no matter how small, was a step towards freedom. My personality was filled with doubts and bad habits, always reaching for a cigarette when stress hit, but I learned that those habits were just chains I had forged myself. The price of change felt steep at first-time, effort, and the fear of losing my old routine-but I found that the cost of staying the same was even higher. I mean, what’s the price of your health, right? The plan I followed was simple yet powerful: I joined a community that understood my struggle, like a group of climbers supporting each other on a tough ascent. If you’re ready to break those chains and transform your life, I highly recommend checking out Quitify5. It’s like having a guide on your mountain climb, providing daily steps and expert support. Don’t wait-join the 5-Day Quit Smoking Challenge now and find your community of fellow climbers. You can easily find Quitify5 on Google. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

How do you use this for anything other than surface water collection? Not only is it extremely expensive but there are no options to be used with an A or E inlet set in the pavement. In what real world application would you have a stormwater pipe 6" below grade? I have a GI requirement, and no way to implement it without a tree in the middle of my drive aisle.
