@TheFilmRoomPod yeah the 2 shows are on TH-cam if you feel the need seek them out! For those who never seen 'in living color' wouldn't comprehend the generational talent Jim Carrey was! But after those ground breaking movies back to back to back. It was impossible to claim that he wasn't gifted comedicaly! Rarely public figures refuses to apologize for their stupidity. Credit Siskel and Ebert for having the guts to say they're wrong!!!

Rip them boys, they were cultural icons. Especially Ebert (for me at least); had a class in high school called “Film as Literature,” frequently involved reading and referencing his articles. Near the end of that semester I think is when he died, right after we’d gotten attached and learned to appreciate him 🥲

I saw this movie in class,it is amazing, it was so good you really could feel the feelings they showed.

The movie definitely starts off slow but I feel like it picks up as he comes in contact with the infected but I personally don't mind a slow burn in TV or movies...not for everyone that and I get that!

i woulda went dark knight. i only saw the adverts that made it seem like that one great african hunter. only thing the trailers i saw showed were him hunting exotic animals in the city. nothing about the trailers i saw made this a suspense, scary, thriller, well, zombie vampire movie. legit made it seem like the guy from league of extraordinary gentleman in the apocalypse. not a shitty zombie trope they give black dudes ever since this movie "my wife and family gone,, AHHHHHHH"

My first viewing was at home on DVD unfortunately lol but I could imagine that scene looking for Sam in the building being crazy in a theater lol!

@@TheFilmRoomPod I remember being absolutely on the edge of my seat! It stood out because it's kinda rare ya know? I think it was enhanced because I tend to make a point to not watch movie trailers because I end up mentally taking note of things and start deconstructing the plot before I even see the film. Another great movie I saw in theaters, (having no idea what it was going to be about beforehand) was '28 Days later'. My friends and I weren't old enough to get into that movie. Friend's brother was 18 and he bought our tickets. Still one of my favorite movies.
