DYNAUDIO AIR series How to prepare for service. Before sending to TNRelectronisc.com
Yes, I strongly recommend getting the Air 20 units are they are the best in the Air line. We still have all parts, drivers to service them if needed. Good luck!
Hi Brian I need the amp module for dynaudio air 20 slave monitor..how much for the spare part?
Hi, i m getting a nice deal with dynaudio air 20 used.should i go ahead if its well maintained knowing its been more than 10 years used and this product is discontinued..please help..i need a correct advice..also r they worth buying in 2023 and how long is the self life if well taken care of?
Would u be interested into buying a pair of Air6 and AirBase 1 that needs servicing?
Hi. I have a Air 20 slave unit. It can't connect to the master. Can you help?
Hi. I have a pair of active dynaudio mc15 and one of them is defective, with power but no sound. Unscrew the amplifier pack but unable to remove. Is it glue to the cabinet or have to remove through other means? Thanks
It is not glued.. It will come out... Just pull.
@@brianthompson6837 I did pull very hard but it would not budge at all. From your video it seems so effortless after unscrewing all the surrounding screw
We had a lot of these at Télé-Quebec for 5.1 monitoring. A lot of them went to garbage cause it was too expensive to repair them. I manage to get one pair for me but they don’t work
very carefully :D

I have all these issues you describe here. Can you give me a rough idea of what the repair cost please?
Typically $180.00 to $320.00 depending on what needs to be repaired/replaced.

As long as the motherboards are not damaged (by the way, the MASTER 2 channel motherboard is NO LONGER AVAILABLE from Dynaudio) you only have to exchange the electrolytic caps in the power supply. If replacing ALL is too much for you, just replace the 1000µF/10V cap AND, even more crucial, the 100µF/6,3V that is near the small heat sink of the +3,3V IC. My advise: take a 100µF/35V for this one, and you need low-ESR 105°C high quality caps here, throughout!! For example, Panasonic FR series. If it starts up now, but you still have no sound, check those TO-220 5 Ohms resistors of the amplifiers. These often go high. If it still doesn't give any sound after checking this, replace the SMT electrolytic caps and those 150µF through hole electrolytics, which is quite a job. I did some 70+ Air 6es and Air15s. This is about it! We go all the way and replace ALL electrolytic caps. Always.
