Thanks for the very pleasant soundtrack 👍.
Can you please post the link to Strava for this ride? thanks much

What an epic tour, wonderful beautiful pictures... I was at the end of the week also on the Stilf Joch and a long-awaited dream came true for me. I started from Prad, but after starting up once it was enough for me 😉 thanks for the great video 👍
I tried to do this today. Failed. Fell off going uphill!
Brilliant video mate. Normally we watch Alpe d'Huez on TdF but watching this video with your POV, makes me fall in love with the nature even more. I loved it.
What cassette do you use, 11/30, 11/32 or 11/34?
I think a 11/32 but go as big as you can!
That music is hideous.
Nice ride. Would like to try out this route myself. But not possible :( Have to be satisfied with my hills on ROUVY :D
Great video. I really enjoyed that and didn't even have to suffer.
Hi Scott, thanks for sharing. Am booked this year. Have a few questions if I may...... How clear is the route signposted? Am a little worried about getting lost. We're there enough fuel stops and how far apart we're they? Is there a max time cut off? And lastly, how warm/cold was it? Well done, regards.....
Hi there, well done for booking up it is a great ride you will love it. Route is very well signposted and there are huge amounts of riders so you will have plenty of people around you, can't remember many points where we were on our own. Just watch for where the different route distances split and make sure you go on the right one. Fuel stops were good but there is a fair distance between them and the first couple were busy, so would recommend taking some bars/gels with you as cover. Not sure about a cut off, if there is I think it is pretty generous. I was fairly warm last year but the ride does go over some exposed hills so worth taking some light layers like gilet, rain jacket - can get cold, especially when you stop. Have fun!!
500 + times and still in love❤
The cargo bike ... Salute
Yes guy on a mountain bike with a kid in a trailer- amazing. Not sure how he got back down again, hope his brakes were working!
Really impressive to summit the Bormio side rather than take the left at Umbrail and just summit once from the Prato side. That last bit from Umbrail to the summit on the Bormio side is the hardest part.
❤👍
🚵🏼♂️💪🏼
Nice video Scott, thanks being part of that great day and thanks for filming. 👏The weather Gods were good to us.🙌
Niiice Scott, magic memories.😍
Tolle Leistung 👍👍👍
Epic looking ride Scott, climbs look great. That near the start looked real steep. Well done both of you.💪👊
Thanks mate, good mix of steep and steady climbs. Hope to see you on the bike soon.
Nice reminder of a great day.... loved it
Nice one Scott, thanks for your efforts, well worth it, great video.😍
Thanks for sharing with us your amazing bike ride. Peace, love and harmony.
This looks brutal !
Yes! Bit scary coming back down again too! Great part of the world for bike riding though.
not ideal weather but looks like a great ride regardless
Schnell, wie der Wind ☺️🐷🚲
Hi Scott, this looks amazing! Can i ask you a question? In May I am cycling from uk to Italy and I was actually planning to go through this bit, from Chur to Splugen, I was wondering, did you do this road? Is it ok to do it with a bike loaded with bags? Thanks
Hi Domenico, yes I did ride from Chur to Splugen - it is an amazing ride. I didn't have bags but I think you should be fine. It is a steady uphill but nothing crazily steep and all good road quality. Be careful on the way down into Italy though, the road is steeper going downhill on that side with lots of tight corners with some in tunnels and with some traffic coming the other way - so just make sure your brakes are working well. Enjoy - a fantastic part of the world.
@@77scottybarber that's great Scott, thank you for your reply and for the detailed info :) I can't wait to start my trip in May! Happy new year and thank you very much again :)
@@DomenicoSprovieri88 Very exciting, we stayed in the Hotel Bodenhaus in Splugen goo.gl/maps/YBAG1xkFHYQzyG8m9 which was very nice. Also stopping there lets you attack the final pass up to the Swiss Italian border with fresh legs!
@@77scottybarber great, I am planning camping around, but I will have a look and if hard to find a place to stay overnight, I will definitely go to this hotel
I can feel it in my bones
Top!!!👏
nice music~nice view~~
Menaggio and not Mennagio ! :-)
Very nice ride, Scott! I will ride Coll de Rates tomorrow, yesterday I went to Sierra de Bernia. Spectacular.
Enjoy! It is a great climb - fantastic roads.
Being fortunate that I've been able to cycle a few laps there myself. Now looking back trough your video with a big smile!
