Mid Century Modern Dining Chairs

This is a set of 8 Mid Century Modern Dining Chairs, made with traditional joinery associated with Welsh Stick Chairs. Two chairs incorporate armrests, and the others without. These chairs, made in solid oak, were paired with a dining table I designed & made for the client earlier this year (2024). They are finished in clear satin hard wax oil.

I tried to design legs for a desk that would represent the blade of a knife, but instead of the legs themselves, I used the negative space on the inside of the legs to capture the blade shape.
