ngl, I'm pretty terrible at quali, no matter the car/track XD If you'd like to share your secrets, I'd be happy to try it, but please don't feel pressured to do so :D

Well, I'd say it depends on which cars you want to get into (both right now and in the future). If you are more aiming towards IndyCar, you'll probably want to go with 1.5+ milers, Late Models will go to short tracks almost always. The NASCAR series will follow their real-life counterparts from February - November. I'd suggest buying tracks, that are on the schedule of multiple series or have races multiple times a year IRL or tracks that also have road courses as well that you can use for formula and sports car racing too.

I have Cerebral Palsy adn normally sit in a wheelchair when I go outdoors, so I need hand-controls to drive and with the PS4-controller I operate the throttle and brake :D Looks weird, but actually works just fine

Hey, sorry I just saw your comment now... Yeah normally I try to save tires more than anybody (I definitely did at Texas the week later), but I just struggled with the handling quite a bit on the bottom that week and even on fresher tires the outside was able to prevail quite a long time, if the bottom lane was not able to send it in perfectly to clear the outside off 2 or 4. But I'll definitely take a Top 10 in the 500, these full-length races are pure survival! I really appreciate your advice though, I always try to learn and improve :D Have a great day!

Hey Tim, ja die Frage bekomme ich öfters zu hören :D Ich habe eine Zerebralparese und kann zwar laufen, benutze aber für weite Strecken einen Rollstuhl. Würde ich Pedale nutzen, könnte ich nur Vollgas geben und voll bremsen (mache ich beim Kartfahren), für iRacing ist das aber zu wenig, deshalb der Controller, damit ich kontrollierter und länger fahren kann.

Hey, thanks for your comment :D I heard about the McLaren GT3 wheel too and how you are able to program the paddles on the wheel for gas and brakes. The G29 + controller version was initially planned to be a short-term solution, but I got so used to it, that I'm not in a hurry to upgrade as of now, if ever. I don't feel like I'm at a disadvantage either (except for tight hairpins like Long Beach, but as I only really focus on ovals, this is not an issue). We'll see, what the future holds, but right now I feel good with what I have and I don't have to fix, what's not broken :D Also there are a few other important things in my life, that I have to spend some money on too, so I don't have upgrading my rig on my radar for the foreseeable future as long as it's working like it should :D But really, thank you for reaching out, I really appreciate it!

Thank you 👍🏻 Actually I don't use the joysticks at all. I throttle with R2, brake with L2 and shift with arrow up/triangle, the rest is all on the steering wheel

Hey, yes I use a PS4-Controller for throttle and brakes. I have Cerebral Palsy and use a wheelchair outdoors. I can walk and feel every part of my body, but I lack the strength and sensitivity in my legs in order to be competitive on iRacing, if I'd use pedals.
