In general, for a Selene 60, build time is approximately 19 months. Then, there is coordinating the shipping and the shipping time. So you are looking at 18 to 24 months.

We do have some boats we've already started to build for faster delivery (e.g. currently we have an Ocean Explorer 60 available with remaining build time roughly 10 months) - we also have a 54 Classic and 72 Ocean Explorer in build at the moment as well. These are available until a customer secures one.

Thanks for viewing the video in detail and taking the time to comment. We use a sturdy push button lock on this boat that many other builders use which is metal but does have a plastic component. We are happy to use a model you prefer for your boat as we customize each boat to an owner's requirements.

Yes for this boat, 1 generator - each boat is customized to a client's requirements. The lithium bank on this boat will be charged via enlarged alternators on the main engine, as well as the wing engine (which will help reduce hours on the generator and increase wing engine usage so you know it works when you need it). The lithium bank will also be charged from solar panels on the flybridge hardtop and pilothouse roof. There are temporary panels in the engine room ceiling and salon ceiling which is where the generator, wing engine and main engine will be lowered into the engine room. Even after the boat is finished, our design includes hidden panels that can still be removed in the event one of these main systems needed to be removed from the boat.

Thank you for the great questions. Real life range is always dependent on multiple factors - the 45 has 1000 gallon fuel capacity and at 7 knots a range of 1500 nautical miles. Owners have experienced longer range and fuel bladders can be added for longer passages if needed. This is a category A vessel (the 49 is as well). There is an option for a wing engine (we offer twins, PTO get home, wing engine as options on our boats) and the internal layout is also customizable. Hi, thanks for checking out our Selene, high-quality, long range trawlers. Selenes are highly customizable, so if you want twin engines, we will do that for you. However, since these are full displacement boats, you are restricted by physics on how fast you can run these boats, regardless of how much horsepower that you have,. Give us a call if you want more information on the difference between, full displacement, semi-displacement and planing boats. There is a significant difference between each, with benefits and downside for each type. It all depends on what you want to do with the boat.

@@SeleneAmericas I just watched a video of a Selene 60 classic, beautiful boat, one engine, it had a generator on top of the propeller shaft for the get home at 4 knots, if the boat had two small main engines could there be two get home generators for 8 knots or close ?

All Selenes are solid fiberglass below the waterline and foam cored above. No more wet core form wooden core.

Thank you for your question. No captain required for this boat. The majority of our boats current owners are two people owning and operating the vessel. With bow and stern thrusters, a stable hull that tracks very well, the boats handle very well. Nope, and I only wear one about 4 times a year. I think it takes up less space than Nautistyles Victoria's sunglasses do. LOL. I have to bite my fingers soo dang hard not to comment about them on their channel, I've kind of had to stop watching them, those glasses are about to drive me sideways, like his hat does you I suppose...
