Lego dioramas and MOCs about history
History explained with LEGO: The Battle of Fort de Vaux
Today guys I present you a new project of mine. Sometimes I feel I would like to explain more of my builds and their context. I want to help spread the knowledge of our history in a new way. Videos explaining battles are nothing new but using LEGO makes it even more interesting than what you are listening I think. And after some months thinking about it I decided to try it with this video and an upcoming one about the Invasion of Poland in 1939. This one just uses the pictures of my Fort de Vaux MOC but I plan for the next one to have "exclusive" scenes animations and pictures you won't have seen before. Let me know what do you think guys and please support the idea if you like it!

thanks man it looks awesome, where did you get the hat and torso from?
Loveeee it, nice work on the Freeform
Wow Is that a custom helmet? How'd you make it?
Helmet is Swiss one from Brickssoldier. I just cut a bit the sides so it's more progressive and looks more similar to the Spanish one. And painted it of course
Wow. That's awesome. It could even be a scene about the battle of Cartagin from Punic wars. But that was the Republican period. 😮
I was inspired by Roman expeditions that went deeper in Africa but once I finished it I found it too simple so I just used the build as a background to show some Roman minifigs I re-painted lately and I keep the idea for a better build in the future
@@ari23_ww2_bricks ok. Great 😃👍
Where can I find instructions? I have a ww2 eastern front moc planned with the spanish blue division, but I need a tank
I didn't do them because I don't know how to implement U-Clips on the digital designer but let me see if I can do something about it
@@ari23_ww2_bricks ok
Looks nice!
Loved it!
San Sebastian Vibes
🙌🙌
cool but u forgot the french SS division was also protecting berlin
Thanks! Yes in Berlin there was also a Spanish unit (Unit Ezquerra) and also Fallschirmjägers and even Kriegsmarine units with their naval uniforms. Maybe in the future I do an updated version of this video
Victoire est a nous is an absolute banger. Great choice of music.
@@MoltenHoniBun Thanks mate!

IS THIS A MODERN DAY PUBLIC BATHROOM?😭😭😭😭 cuz that’s what they look like in australia
Haha lmao curious
I'd be grateful for public toilets, whatever the buildings looked like. We've lost over half of our public toilets in Wales over the last 25 years. You now have to use the facilities in fast food restaurants or cafes and that usually requires buying something first. It would be much more sensible to charge a fee for the facilities, but people begrudge having to pay for toilets when they feel they've already paid for them with their taxes.
@@owainmorgan3897 do you know what? In Australia, public bathrooms are riddled with spiders. Even though it’s cleaned every night, the next day, dirty. And I mean diiirrrtttttyyyyy
@@Ur-local-2x4-lego-brick Nothing to do with the dirt, but I wouldn't use them because of the spiders. I have severe allergic reactions to ALL insect bites and stings. If an Australian spider bit me I would most probably die. Even if the bite and poison didn't kill me, the adrenaline rush on top of it from seeing the size on your spiders would probably finish me off 😵😵💫
@@owainmorgan3897 I once saw a daddy long legs in the toilet bowl. I ran outta there. If I was busting then, this would be nothing compared to me
Are the aliexpress torsos good quality? How is the print job, and how is the quality of the plastic? Would you recommend them for use if I was planning on not using the vest on top of them? Thanks for the great video. 🙂
@@generalalexandrospapagos325 Torso itself is almost like a LEGO one. Arms aren't loose and they have printed details. Fits perfect with LEGO arms and hips/legs. Printing is a step lower but well as you can see it still looks pretty decent (we have to remember how cheap they are!). It won't fade easy. Back part printing is ugly (design and color choice) if you ask me but they will still look good if you don't use the gear over them. All in all to create "big" armies they are perfect!
@@ari23_ww2_bricks Awesome, thanks. I plan on using them for a stop motion.
@@generalalexandrospapagos325 I think you will like them and they will be so useful for it!
@@ari23_ww2_bricks Thanks for all the info! One last question, if I were to remove the legs but keep the hips due to the fact they have printing that continues on from the torso, would they be fine connecting to regular lego grey legs, or would it be too loose/tight?
@@ari23_ww2_bricks Awesome, thanks for all the info! One last question, if I were to keep the hips from the minifg since the printing form the torso continues onto the hips, would it work fine with regular lego legs? Or would it be too loose/tight, or look weird?
Good🔥
Thanks!!
And where are the capes from? And do you hav Any idea if you not hav a Cape?
@@Kdsjdvdbjdfkdkdk Yes at the end I put they can be found on AliExpress but I forgot to put that the original one is from BrickFabric and I encourage people who watches this and wants to build them to build the original one!!! Sorry 🙏
