I live here and to whomever is watching this video, it's even more beautiful when you see it in person. From here you can take a ferry ride out to the San Juan Islands or even go to Victoria, Canada. Salmon, Dungeness crab, Red Snapper, Clams, Oysters, you name it, we have it! Folks, come on up and see our beautiful town, there are plenty of accommodations and even a very nice campground, which you saw part of near the end of this video, between 3:39 and 4:19. Check it out!

I used to live in Edmonds, WA and went to college up in Bellingham, WA. Mount Vernon was always a nice site to see because it let us know that it was the mid point between Edmonds and Bellingham. I stopped by Mount Vernon just recently just to shoot some free throws on a basketball court on W. Hazel street.

Vovka misses being a kid, because he loves watching Battle for Dream Island (BFDI) at Somerset Gardens Apartments when he was little.

Use to visit my grandma there in the 50s and 60s,it was a logging town for sure.use to wish I could buy a Willey truck there from the dealer there.

Oh man, I lived in Stanwood until I was 15. My dad worked at Twin City Foods for almost 30 years. I lived in the old neighborhood down the street from Bryant’s Hardware store. I remember getting the best cheeseburgers from Ovenelle’s in the parking lot of the giant white building in the beginning of the video. Thanks for posting this. Lots of memories there……. Now I live no where near there…;)

Wow, this is a real treat and Thank you. I was born in the house at the 5:02 mark on the right side of Hwy 9...that was 52 years ago...So many memories of trips down highway 9 as a kid...my grandparents owned a second house in Clipper and that's where I spent most summers until I was 12...I haven't done that drive in 10 years.

Used to know a kid named Jeremiah that lived in Stanwood. Right before you get to Camino Island his family had a farm to the right of the bridge. He must be 35 or older now. Miss that town. Use to swim off wooden dock.
