I’ve always dreamed of seeing that happen in person tbh

I was fortunate to see this on my birthday last year but also the week it closed. It was truly a full circle moment for me. To fall in love with musical theater and to go to a performing arts college because if this musical only to see it live for my birthday and the week it closed was such a surreal experience. I remember the first time I saw that chandelier rise I BAWLED my eyes out and the second I saw it I yelled and screamed. I can’t wait to one day have the privilege of playing this role one day♥️♥️♥️

I'm sure the Phantom will return someday, and when he does we'll all be waiting to welcome him back!

I saw the video of Sarah doing the song in a local cemetery..she laid flowers on the grave of her father Charles Daae..the lyrics sounded so different.

There used to be a version on here made by someone that was a duet, also the audio was much louder. But the back and forth was more natural and each had their own verse and only both sang during the last verse. Wonder if that version is somewhere.

But Claire Moore was Christine in the very first preview cos Sarah was sick. Maybe he meant the second preview when Sarah was back

love that she did a few twists and turns for the audience before rising away. the phantoms overture is something you need to experience in person. (and sadly not on broadway anymore) a phenomenal show. and the vibrations and chills send ya.

I was there too, and cried! (Several times in that afternoon performance!)

OMG imagine being Sarah in this situation- you're on a ladder with a guy behind you and you're performing and then you hear the tape breaks and THEN your co worker puts his head up your skirt by accident and continues singing anyway- I would die lol

I was thinking he sounds kind of different from Erik, then he gave the impression of him with makeup on and I realised why

I cried. this is so emotional for many reasons but I think it's the return to life, the end of a terrible pandemic. The resurrection of Art and Theater and to meet again. Phantom of the Opera should be declared a World Heritage and It should always be open.

I just got to see The Phantom for the first time yesterday, and I’m glad I did. So upset it’s closing in April :(
