@@ChrisMizTV Hawaii was actually exactly what i had in mind. I've attempted to have a dynasty run as a Run and Shoot Coach many many times but i just struggle to not throw INTs lol. I also keep searching for a playbook that would work well as an imitation of the Chip Kelly oregon super fast paced spread. I know he's the OSU OC but it's not really the same as what he did at Oregon IMO

Can you tell me what kinda formation you’re looking for it to be in? I’m not familiar with the exact play you’re talking about but may be able to find something similar with a little more info.

Yes! I’ve really found you have to decide SUPER quick and pitch early OR wait until the tackle animation has already started to attempt a pitch. If you try to pitch AS you get hit the ball starts going everywhere. It’s definitely annoying

I wish I could run them, but in my experience the receivers choose a different option than I’m expecting half the time leading to easy picks 😕

Yeah I was thinking at first that the peeks were more for over the middle reading the LB while alerts were more toward the outside with screens and hitches, but truthfully it gets kinda mixed up in the actual game.

Alert are usually to the play side and key in on an unblocked player that would be in the box to make a talke but is instead influenced by the route. Usually a bubble or a hitch. While peeks are usually opposite the run side and the read key is a backside defender that is influenced by a variety of route like y pop seam Or slant

Also alert reads have pre snap keys that indicate whether you should take it or not. Like rpo alert if you see a backed off corner odd safe you should throw it vs the peek play you have to take a peek at what happens post snap. Just some things I’ve picked up on within the play naming system of different college schemes and on the game

They’re probably playing some kind of hard flat zone that shoots it! It can be tough sometimes, just try to watch who could potentially get there to make the play and if anyone steps toward that side, take your 3-4 yard carry and move on.

I’m a sucker for running out of Gun so I prefer Michigan out of the two, but I’m glad there’s something for everyone!

Yeah it’s unfortunate that each team is locked to their playbook, but then again I suppose it forces team diversity in a way

@@ChrisMizTV it doesn’t that was the agenda but everyone especially all American and heisman everyone plays with primary tier 1 teams mainly Alabama which makes the game still a good game as long as long as you play franchise and not online the offensive playbooks are way more advanced than the defensive playbooks in my opinion but if you’re gonna have to play Alabama or tier ones all day online it makes the game boring and redundant so I’d rather play franchise even though I’ve played like over 300 online games. Sorry for the paragraph just venting🫡

@@ChrisMizTV kansas st playbook you can get filthy if you have a great fullback as well. Most shotgun plays than Texas AM too (the playbooks are very similar)

I mentioned it briefly in the middle of the video! To me, like the veer and shoot or the flexbone, the slow mesh would need a video of its own!

There are challenges for them. If you check the solo challenges there’s a series for each type of playbook. Don’t quicksell them though. I quicksold my Power Spread playbook and can’t get it back 😔
