If you reload a round after at least 1 skull broken, the boss will stop moving until you break the next skull :D you can do really silly things with this, as long as you dont end the rounds first D40 dart should work too, spop or gerry may be skippable but it will likely be tight on the money. Oh hey, guess top 1 strat wasnt acegon (thankfully) I decided to still do it, and hey, it was pretty cool!
