DJI M350 L2 LiDAR Navigation?

Messing around with the L2 and noticed that it was still shooting points even though I wasn't recording the data....
DJI Flight Hub 2 - Measuring off the Terra Generated 3D Model

Using the #dji Matice 350 with the Zenmuze L2 LiDAR payload, I was able to not only capture lidar data of the site, but photogrammetry data too, using the additional photo data I was able to create a reality mesh in addition to the point cloud to do a visual inspection of the field. While a point cloud can get you topographic data that can give you a very detailed over all picture... 3D Reality...
Warren Township Park

It's been a long time since i've been back to my old stomping grounds...So I saw a park I couldn't pass up wandering around. It was in the morning, after a good rain, and no one was out but grounds keepers. Probs the best ineraction i've had with people who didn't want me flying there, they were curtious, they listend and asked nicely. While it was on me that I didn't look up the rules and regs...

Fun! Bummer you crashed so fast lol
New Education System Entertainment Central Park
copter 4copter 😂
Finally easy implementation of 3D FPV?
Damn, someone implemented it in a drone. Excellent work! Also, that's a clever way to safely test a drone too. Adopted.
On tilt it will have 2 props in the propwash from the other 2 props
Absolutely useless
This is cool but probably wont go commercial because its already patented.
They should use their intelligence to create a revolutionized marital aid. They'd be rich faster than with the drone.
Here's a functional two actuator drone that discloses this method in May of 2018: th-cam.com/video/qWsKqmCIhRY/w-d-xo.html and here's a third party using the method in a more traditionally laid-out helicopter th-cam.com/video/d80oXSCcHTk/w-d-xo.html in June of 2020 with a more obvious depiction of how it functions. Ah, an earlier showing of the original in 2014 th-cam.com/video/KZe7l5_LfoA/w-d-xo.html

I wish they had more info on the website. Looks cool, I'm curious about the design/durability for 3d planes/quads.
I like how you're demonstrating this on a quadcopter, a configuration that gains little to no benefit from cyclic rotor head control. A dual rotor coaxial configuration (with one below) with larger rotor blades would be far more efficient extending range or loiter time. A traditional helicopter configuration would also be more efficient, despite reaction torque losses.
Allowing for a flat body in forward flight has advantages for either sensor stability or added efficiency of supplementary airfoils.
Not only that, if a single rotor fails you can still maintain stability.
🙏 please explain the point of this video ?
I'd like to see this in action!
watch the video 😅
@marc_frank lol it's held down, that's not in action 😅 🤣
😮 how?
th-cam.com/video/aEPf0QHVuMM/w-d-xo.html
Lead lag hinge. They accelerate and slow down the motor at specific point in the rotation to induce pitch changes in prop. These guy spin off the UPenn GRASP lab which has cool demo of this stuffs
tom stanton has a video explaining this concept
😮
Ray tracing lol
Yo~ Jeremiah. you uploaded nice uploading!take it easy. 👐
Definitely need to get the kiddos there!
Is this before or after you got kicked out?
Those guys you see when I landed....Those guys were delightfully nice and were a perfect example of how to handle the situation of, "Please no".
