Time Traveling Kids: Jaxon goes to 1976

This is about a boy from 2021 that goes back in time and visits kids at play in 1976. Witness the decay our society has gone through. This is my second cartoon. This was done at 6 frames per second (fps), so please forgive the lack of smoothness. I used Flipaclip to make this production.

It's an interesting option. But it doesn't appear to play the alarm continuously like the original does. Not much of an alarm if it only goes off once, instead of nonstop for 45 minutes like the other version. Still, I actually repair these clocks in their originality, and rebuild the motor so if anyone looking at this video wants it done that way, let me know. :)

I have this clock I bought off Ebay that didn't work and I want to repair it. Lol!!! It's sitting in pieces in shoebox. I bought for the memories of my childhood and for the fact that when I had the original one back in the 70's mine never talked. For some reason it bugged me for years that I never heard what mine had said because it was a broken one back then as well. It wasn't till today before I revisited the thought and finally thought about seeing if someone on YT played one that worked. I did. Forty + years later. I still want to try the repair myself even though I finally heard the clock talk. For people who don't know, that was a big deal back in the 70's to have a "talking" anything electronic. Especially something as affordable as an alarm clock. Computers or "a" game system was very expensive to own back then so only those with parents making a substantial living could afford it.

I had one of these alarm clocks. Eventually the recording failed either completely or partially. I sold the clock at a garage sale for a couple of dollars in the early 80s. I told the purchaser (via my mom) that the recording didn't work, but he was still quite glad to get it. I like your fix, the record with stylus used in this clock and talking dolls of the day was only supposed to work until just after the novelty wore off.

I am studying stuff to start the build of my very first surf board in a few months, I watch the speed and skill with with he works and it is amazing. When I envision myself doing it I picture about 10,000 things I could screw up and how slow I will be. Then there is the aspect of what actual geometry or shapes I want to use and blend together; will I build a dud. I would really love a good mentor to coach me through the build but it seems like finding someone that wants to help is like finding a unicorn!

@@jerryschuller5542 Sure ok but why try and start from scratch when the knowledge is out there. I am a pilot and within aviation is a saying I really agree with. “Learn from the mistakes of others. You won’t live long enough to make all of them yourself.” So like I said, first board... Why not try and tap into the wealth of knowledge that is out there, almost every great surfboard builder video I have watched has some guy stating who he derived knowledge and inspiration from.

The problem is that the motor is burned out. Just remove the voice box and cut the wires. Order a recordable greeting card chip, record the audio onto it (you can find it for download. Just google it.), and put the chip in the circuit like I did. One chip you can order is here: www.walmart.com/ip/HURRISE-30s-Recordable-Voice-Module-with-3-Button-Cells-Voice-Recording-Chip-For-DIY-Birthday-Holiday-Greeting-Card/179036409?wmlspartner=wmtlabs&adid=22222222222289727697&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=74492026819855&wl4=pla-4578091579404461&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&+wl10=Walmart&wl12=179036409_10001033976&wl14=recordable%20greeting%20card%20chip&veh=sem&msclkid=2c69c489a3e8192fabf59b4004c5a0a2

Please come back in the fall during some good sustained onshore winds in the high teens or greater...winds crossing the distance of the lake from West to East. On these such days, our surf is respectable. I've surfed here in Buffalo for about 4 years. 3-4' days are not uncommon. Surfline fairly identifies some of our better breaks. May I recommend Hamburg Beach? If you paddle out near the boat launch, you'll catch some nice waves in that cove. I can share my spots because I've never surfed with more than 2 other surfers. Lol. No lineups here.

Ah yes, I used to live right by Hamburg Beach when I was little. In the winter, my school bus would drive down Lake Shore Rd. and the waves would get so big that they'd crash up onto the road! I used Magic Seaweed to find the swell in this video. It predicted it 4 days in advance!
