The canvas is too glazed. The red edging is too red. The fork and structure looks off. I’m not sure, but aren’t the handles meant to be leather? They patina over time and those look too “new” and glossy. I could be wrong on that part. Best bet? Take it to them for repairs. Try another store and say it was an inherited bag to get past the “where’d you buy it question”, and you’d like the zip repaired as it gets stuck sometimes

They’re right. Saint Laurent runs a size or size and a half smaller. Quite comfortable that way. Another tip with them is the soles, they’re leather so you ideally want to get topy soles for them (so you don’t slip because you slip easily.)
