Walnut Creek Arts Rec hosted their 5th annual Truck or Treat at Civic Park. There were lots of fun booths and activities for the kids plus foklorico performances.

At the last meeting, the Warriors gave up a big lead and lost to the Bucks by one point. This time the roles reversed as the Warriors struck first and held the lead to win the Playoff game and advanced to the Championship. Kainoa busted out a new move and got the crowd roaring as he scored.

The last game before the playoffs was another close game that came down to the wire. The Lakers came out swinging with tough defense but Kainoa and the Warriors battled to the end. In the end the game was decided by one point!

This year Zealand's birthday adventure was to ride the Ice Cream Train on Oahu's Historic Railway from Ewa Beach to Electric Beach. All trains except the Sunday 1pm train makes a stop for ice cream at Ko'Olina Resort. The Blackhawk Museum in Danville celebrated the Mid-Autumn Asian Cultural Festival. We enjoyed Asian dance performances in addition to the amazing exhibits. Our favorites were The Don William's Automobile Gallery and World of Nature.

Kainoa finally got his number 30 Warriors jersey and wasted no time with 4 quick buckets including long range shots like Steph Curry. It was a high-scoring game but the Bucks overcame a large deficit to steal the game by one point.

After the last tough game, the Warriors stepped up their defense. The Warriors led the whole game with a group effort to defeat the Lakers 14-10. Kainoa was the game's high scorer with 8 points.

Redwood Valley Railway is a miniature railway at Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, California. It's a popular attraction for families with children. Tickets are $4 per person. For more information to go www.ebparks.org/parks/venues/steam-train

Game 3 was a physical one with tough defense and lots of fouls. At the end of regulation the game was tied 6-6. Kainoa came in clutch at the end as he broke through a pack of defenders to score the game winning layup. GO WARRIORS!

Kainoa's first full game as a Warrior started off to a slow start but in the 2nd half the team woke up and played hard defense and cause several turnovers for the Lakers. The highlight of the game was when Kainoa picked up a missed Laker's shot and went on a full court fast break for his first ever game layup.

Kainoa played in his first ever organized basketball league game. He was assigned to the Celtics and had a great first half. In the middle of the game, he was traded to help the Warriors as they were held scoreless at the half. Kainoa went on to score the only 4 points for the Warriors in the second half and finished with a total of 6 points between both teams.

The Bridgeview Trail at Dimond Canyon is a fun 1.4 mile hike for families with kids. As you hike the shaded trail, you will spot the homemade trolls along the way. The Bridgeview Trolls started appearing in 2020 and you can follow them @bridgeviewtrolls. You can even make your own troll and install them on the trail.

The city of Pleasant Hill had an awesome family-friendly parade with cool classic cars and candy for the kids
