It's a flaw in the TesseralX algorithm, I need to optimize it a bit more so it doesn't look like that. For my next videos I'll use the Persiana algorithm, which takes a bit longer to render but doesn't have those flaws.

FractalX is a program I developed from scratch back in 1999, and this year I took it upon myself to revive it and make it compile on a more modern compiler, which is why I'm just now posting its results on TH-cam. The program works with 64-bit C++ double variables, which support about 16 decimal digits, so when the complex numbers in the corners of the screen get really small due to zooming, these numbers pretty much converge to the same value and the fractal journey is over... hehe. I hope to solve this in the future by using another kind of floating point variable that supports more decimal digits.
