That was quite a storm , lots of close CG strikes. Storms are always spectacular at night. Whenever one happens in my area at night I can't sleep through it so I just get up and enjoy natures fireworks. I like to put on Handels music for royal fireworks as back ground music.

Those tornado warning sirens remind me of the Cold War.

This sounded like a positive lightning stroke.

In a squall line, the sky turns extremely black as night. They're lines of severe thunderstorms with frequent CGs and loud thunder, large hail, extremely high winds and very heavy rain. They're very notorious for producing tornadoes and floods.

All I'm hearing through three and a half minutes is crickets and wind? Nice light show... Dog barking about 4:00 brief rain about 3:30. Boring waste if not for God's fireworks, as Mom called them until after 10:00 minute mark with the actual arrival of the storm

Two usually combine into one. Multi vortex tornado.

After a little over 16 minutes of lightning and thunder the storm comes barreling in around the 17:00 mark. This storm reminds me of a song by The Beatles, with the beautiful lyric, "The wild and windy night, that the rain washed away." I remember in the summer of 1971, a storm that came into the small farm town I live in, some 5,000 people, late at night. After the storm it was calm and the rain was dripping off of the large cottonwood trees out by the swimming pool. We had been riding around during the storm. This is a great video and thank you for recording and posting it.

We had some nice weather, but was chilly at night. The Midwest is always cold in the fall and winter. Gotta love the videos of these 😊

You could always combine a bunch of your videos together. I'm using them for reading at night. My wind down after a long day. The only thing I miss from living in Texas for 2 years is the thunderstorms. My area of California doesn't get thunderstorms for the most part. 1 of your 30 min videos has more thunder and lightning than 20 years here. Thank you!!!

Absolutely awesome footage.!!!! I love in the beginning the frogs all doing their frog thing then the dog starts to bark because it knows what's coming. The display of lightning is fantastic.
