After a little over 16 minutes of lightning and thunder the storm comes barreling in around the 17:00 mark. This storm reminds me of a song by The Beatles, with the beautiful lyric, "The wild and windy night, that the rain washed away." I remember in the summer of 1971, a storm that came into the small farm town I live in, some 5,000 people, late at night. After the storm it was calm and the rain was dripping off of the large cottonwood trees out by the swimming pool. We had been riding around during the storm. This is a great video and thank you for recording and posting it.

We had some nice weather, but was chilly at night. The Midwest is always cold in the fall and winter. Gotta love the videos of these 😊

You could always combine a bunch of your videos together. I'm using them for reading at night. My wind down after a long day. The only thing I miss from living in Texas for 2 years is the thunderstorms. My area of California doesn't get thunderstorms for the most part. 1 of your 30 min videos has more thunder and lightning than 20 years here. Thank you!!!

Absolutely awesome footage.!!!! I love in the beginning the frogs all doing their frog thing then the dog starts to bark because it knows what's coming. The display of lightning is fantastic. ny had an earth quake back in april and noone got any alert of the earth quake until an hour after the quake hit. im saying this bc the sirens went off once the nado was already on the ground halfway through ur town

Thanks for sharing this video. I have seen the damage of an ef-5 tornado did to the southern part of Joplin, Missouri and there was no way a town like Joplin would survive and rebuild as they did. Rogers, Bentonville, and other communities will rebuild one home and building at a time.
