Dude, is that the Fortissax theme from Elden Ring? i'm pretty sure it is. nice one. i'm a big Mephorash enthusiast, man. so i absolutely dig others reactions to it. i still think "The Rites of Nullification" is their best work. but i absolutely love the SHM and Krystl Ah albums. have a good one my friend.
@@VFFP54 I like Elden ring ;), and cheers
Oh yeah it's creeping in like a virus, slowly overtaking with its dark energy. I have only just discovered this today and came across your channel as I was looking for uncensored version. Mentioned BPM.. BPM channel was the best yt discovery for me in and you're right. It's madness to keep up with all the uploads so I just stick with atmospheric but still can't do it all 🤣 Aran-Pimeyttä Vasten and Ethereal Shrouds-Trisagion got permanently embedded in my ❤
we should be separate so that both of our cultures can thrive. That being said, i dont have hatred towards you, especially being so professional and understanding my peoples struggle. You must understand that you and your culture would be doing better on your continent
Hell yeah
can't wait for your upcoming post-rock nu-folk album
I don't get why you as a Black musician of Black metal do the overdone european concepts instead of African concepts. Be different, be proud, stop living in fear, stop playing it safe. We need African concept Black metal in the world, the only Black metal that hasn't been done yet. Whites will not do that, its up to Black musicians like YOU!
Well firstly, Many of the tracks are directly inspired by games or mythologies i've personally enjoyed or found some sort of muse within, And secondly I do not make music based on my or any particular race or ethnicity, I make the music I want regardless of which culture they may have originated. Though I believe the concept of war and death is pretty universal which, if one cannot tell is a big theme for this project ;)
The mix is muddy.
Do you know that prank call, "black as in evil and darkness"?
There is nothing I love more than war metals, or even just with war sounds
this is some really cool native american black metal from the adirondacks mountains in new york sounds very nicely produced to me the drone footage they definitely have a very unique sounds having flutes and acoustic guitar
Teens are more angry coz puberty hormones and haven't learned yet a healthy outlet for their rage. Add to that the rage that comes from feeling helpless in directing their own lives
Its only a matter of time until black metal becomes so thoroughly subverted and infiltrated that it loses all of these ascpects. Lefty People right now are upset that there is one "countercultural" genre that doesnt clutch its pearls at NS so they're trying very very hard to exorcise this element of black metal that has been there since the beginning. They just want it to be another punk sceme.
whats the background music
THX! Hello from Mallorca! Thats some epic sound! \m/
not a huge fan of the drums but as a drummer i know how hard it can be to find a solid metal drummer that can play these speeds everything else however sounds great
If I had one wish, I'd have a friend that was a real drummer, besides Ryan Stagerwald of RINGWORM, who I can't have.
Very good. Thx for this and greetings from germany.

Some of those controversial bands like Nokturnal Mortum and kroda are amazing
Listening to a lot of (extreme) music, I found that Dancehall, especially Sizzla, is about a racist as you can get... as a Huwhite guy I still enjoy dancehall music thoroughly, even if the performer probably despises me... dont give a crap still good music. Same goes for Black Metal, dont care if a band likes a specific skin tone color more than the other, I'll not judge a band by their preference of color of skin, but by the content of their music... Most metal music is pretty misanthropic, so pretty obvious non-white people will be hated as much as the whole of humankind... no surprise there.
You're an ADL plant
I welcome all Metalhead Brothers and Sisters! Great video!
Is modern black metal an aesthetic or a pro-paganism?
cool takes dude
Yawwwwnn
Oh well time to get my daily radiation dose by dipping into this video's comment section.
There is something you should understand on this topic. White countries in Europe never ever voted to suddenly get tons of black people and arabs imported into their countries. It has been enforced upon us and our own identities are squashed and ridiculed by media everywhere. Anyone who pays attention can see they're setting up a race war with the intent that white people should lose. Therefore, the racism in the black metal scene is extremely just fine. It's white man's music. Could almost compare it to rastafaris and black pride, although reggae is a lot more popular among different races. It's not an issue when you put it into the perspective of the greater happenings. It's not about the hate towards you as an individual, but hate towards all the black/arab people suddenly imported into every city, forced onto your children, stealing your shit and raping your women. Because there has been a ton of that everywhere.
The whole point of punk and metal is to push back against the mainstream. If it doesn't push the boundaries of what's socially acceptable, it would be edgy. That being said, at one point Satanism was edgy. Suburban parents were on the lookout making sure their kids weren't listening to it. Now, many suburban parents are open Satanists, so it's not edgy at all. But that racism.... that's the 3rd rail of society, better not touch it. So naturally, the metal and punk bands are going to go for it. Essentially, if it offends your parents and teachers, it's punk/metal.
I don't believe Black Metal is inherently racist. It is just misanthropic. Most of the BM musicians hate blacks the same as they hate white people, including themselves.
Greets from México, brother. Can you tell me what is the song in the intro?
Behexen - my soul for his glory ;)
amon amarth isnt black metal
RATM...those punk ass MF's are on mainstream radio all fkn day.
Power Metal is better anyway, 'Black Metal' is dogshit enjoyed by edgelords and angry racists.
I think the whole point of black metal is to HATE, usually hate of god but hate of ALL things in creation, that includes race, species, individuals. Tbh its like me saying, "rap music is mysoginistic", its well known but it isnt the point of the music
It doesn’t have to be. What about bands like Summoning or Caladan Brood? Or Immortal? Or Melechesh? There are a wide range of topics in it just like any other one. It might have been the point of it back when it originally started but things change. They can change.
No, love thy people. Hate it's enemies. That's a healthy relationship with love/hate that NSBM get right and that everyone should get right. Love without hate for what threatens your love is not love but perversion. Hate without a foundation in love is just anti-social and immoral.
Black metal is simply against the modern world.
You will never be one of us.
😉
You are right. I'm sure he doesn't want to be a loser like you.
This guy gets it, cheers!
intro song???
Behexen - my soul for his glory
Death Metal & Black Metal aren't supposed to be nice, caring, loving or respectful communities. It is what it is, what it was, and what it will be. I'm a Christian saved & brought back to the faith through Christ, but spent about 15 years deeply into metal and still listen to alot of Burzum and Marduk, etc, today. But i have learned to separate the art from the artists and in my own music, i praise god lyrically though musically i write brutal & heavy.
The metal "community" is very accepting and respectful towards each other. Anyone who loves metal is welcome... except posers.
Well boys, we all know the superior genre of black metal anyways: Nature Black Metal/Atmospheric Black Metal.
These are only the words, a labels. Not such thing as "superior genre of.." there are good bands and the bad ones thats it..
Only racism in music is from rap music .
you must be unfamiliar with NSBM
@@RobertFisher-q3q what's the acronym for
@@RobertFisher-q3q hahaha i was just about to say that someone who grew up in 90s Poland and bands like Honor singing about Hitler and Waffen SS, or Konkwista 88 with their flagship song being "White Honour, White Pride". Give me a fkin break. More extreme metal gets, more racist it was. Look at Norway and what sort of ideology Burzum and friends were believing in... not all of them, but if one's trying to be "extreme" and edgy, there aint nothing much better than being racist, white supremacist and pagan.
that’s embarrassing, stfu
Bruh go listen to stuff like Skrewdrive or Temnozer plenty of racism there
There's bad seeds in everything. More than ample examples of extremism in some rap. And it's more widely accepted as the norm. You have good views, people can learn from you.
The correlation between gangster rap and black metal seems painfully obvious, yet even many in BM don't get it. Look at the cover of Ragnarok. The whole Ye/Burzum connection. Or better yet dude from Shining saying he listens to 2Pac before every show. Black metal is also SUPPOSED to be the music for the baddest seeds of all, that is kind of the whole point, and that point somewhat is true for rock and roll as a whole, and the more extreme you get, the more it is true.
There isn't really more examples of extremism in rap, the average person just gets exposed to it more because the system loves pushing non-white/anti-white stuff. Though I guess you could argue that a lot of "extremism" in metal is not extreme at all since it falls more in line with the traditional values that human civilizations had as their norm for several millennia, and the real extremist ideology is liberal democracy and all the insanity and lies that comes with it.
Far right is as worse as far left. Maybe less actually. These days the left has become stupid! The era of being cancelled. We are slowly turning into a communist country where only one idea is acceptable or you will lose your livelihood for having a different opinion.
Again just to add to my point if it was not already super clear in the video, I am not endorsing any bands or genres that promote NS ideaology, My main point is that within extreme genres of art there will always be very dark topics, themes and extreme fringes present. I am for freedom of expression, unfortunately there may be people who use that to promote things that I do not personally agree with. From that point it is up to the indvidual to give their own moral judgement on it. Hope this clears up any misunderstandings, I appreciate the comments
The problem arises when racial ideologues within "social justice" lumps NSBM bands into the same pit as regular Black Metal. So Taake displayed a banner on a concert in Germany that is forbidden there, for obvious reasons. This got them into a controversy, despite there literally being nothing even close to national socialism in any of their cover art, music, lyrics or even personal lives. They apologized, explaining that the intention was to offend as much as possible - which is what BM bands tend to do. Now they are on the list of ns bands. Even worse in the case of Ngla. One of their band members have worked with a band before, and in that band there was another guy who had some shady dealings with some nsbm band. Otherwise nothing in the band art, music or lyrics to suggest that they want to convert people to national socialism. The point is this: NSBM bands sell albums and tickets to national socialists who like that stuff. In order to sell tickets to their shows, they have to make sure that it is abundantly clear that they are a NSBM band, so they plaster it everywhere and are very explicit about what messages they want to get out there. If they do not, but hide it in a veneer of "respectability", they do not appeal to that crowd. So there are no NSBM bands that hide their NS-ness. The NS-ness is their most important, if not only sales strategy.
It might be a bit concerning if music promotes or denys the death of 6 million ACTUAL PEOPLE. There is a line between edgyness or like you call it "fuck you" genre (mentality) and the destruction of a whole continent (and many other parts of the world). I think the main difference between anti-christian bm and nsbm is the target. In the classical (anti christian) bm the target is the "opressor" since christians went on the crusades or opressed pagans etc. NSBM on the other hand preys on minorities or people that don't fit their world view.
As I had said in the video, there is also a line for me, which is why I personally do not endorse this genre, I only state that within any extreme genre, you will unfortunately find an extreme fringe, from that point it is up to the individual to choose whether to endorse it or not
@@belphezar2054 It's in the name of the music. It's national socialist black metal. If it comes to this a line has already been passed. Since i am from germany myself this is very frightening especially when it comes to the point that those nazis are infiltrating the whole metal and pagan scene. And for that heritage part there is another concern. Those people promote the use of language and thought that the neo nazis use so that they have a easier time to infiltrate normal metal/pagan spaces and spread their ideology there. It's a huge problem here and i am pretty sure that this is a problem in many other european countries aswell. Sure most of the metal heads here don't tolerate that stuff and most festivals just straight up ban bands like that but it's really concerning when you think what this might do to young people that are not very self reflected.
@@pako4423that’s a dumb reason frankly speaking.
@@denisn8336 That's a very smart, witty and constructive response. I am imperessed. I'm sure it's normal that neo nazis give away their propaganda music for free on schoolyards for more than 25 years now.

Trans metal fan. Always have had to separate artists from art in my case because I love rap, metal and punk. People are ignorant and can still make amazing stuff.

Yes anyone who has different values or beliefs to you is ignorant
I admit that I do like some NSBM. But I do not have anything in common with the members. Example is Graveland. On that note, I like Rage Against the Machine but also do not have anything in common with their ideology.
I listen to The Committee and I have very in common ideas to them ideology. Maybe its time for you to search music made from your fellowship. Rage Against The Machine is very tame and shameful
Thanks for the video and sharing your perspective. I appreciate your line of thought, but wanted to add another viewpoint to it, as you invited to :) I do not agree with the statement that metal is a „fuck-you“-genre, where everybody can do whatever they like. At least, that is not what it should be or how it should be viewed. What I can support in your statement is that metal as a genre that highly values individual freedom and the importance of personal choice. This is one of the most attractive and valuable aspects about the metal genre and the community behind it, and it is exactly what allows for metal music to explore extremes that cannot be found in other communities. That’s what draws a large number of different people toward the genre and helps them with various personal struggles, most prominently the feeling of „not fitting in“. It’s one of the reasons why I love metal. However, it is exactly this personal freedom that is constrained by racist (or otherwise discriminating) actions. If a person cannot visit a concert because they are afraid of being physically assaulted or verbally insulted, they are no longer free in their decisions to enjoy their favorite music. This problem of course only occurs with metal music if the band/artist actually endorses an ideology of discrimination beyond the lyrics of the music. Seperating personal mindsets from the message of the art is not always easy, but there are enough bands out there where it is clear without a doubt that their racism is something they promote in real life as well as in their music. These bands are cutting deeply into the freedom of people and therefore destroying what makes metal so great. This can be helpful to understand some of the discrepancy of feeling toward anti-christian and NSBM music. There is a structural difference here. While most (by far not all) bands use anti-christian imagery in their music as a shock effect or to convey political criticism, but would not actually harm people for being christian or endorse such an act (which is, where you would draw the line as well, if I understand correctly), the majority of NSBM bands carry their personal believes into their music, and will act racist in everyday live. This becomes apparent from interviews and actions of the artists, for example. Now, that is to say that harming people because of their religious beliefs is equally wrong as harming them based on their skin color or any other personal attribute, and bands that actually support violence against christians in real life need to be critizised on the same grounds. It should just help to understand why I think anti-christianism is viewed less as problematic in metal (of course, there are other factors linked to history and power structures, but those are not the main point). I hope I did not misunderstand your point and I believe you when you say that you do not support NSBM yourself. Yet, I also believe that it is important to actively demonstrate (to the outside and inside) that hateful ideologies that go beyond the music do not have a place within the metal community. P.s.: This is not against your video, I actually found it very interesting, otherwise I would not have spend so much time on the comment. It should just offer my perspective and reasoning why I think racism in metal/NSBM is problematic, and I’d like to hear how you feel about these thoughts :)
I appreciate the comment, I am not endorsing it, I am only stating that these fringes will always exist within any extreme genre, Unfortunately black metal as a whole has quite a dark stain on its history. At the end of the day it is up to the individual to decide what they wish to support
Assuming racist people will act that way towards others is kind of just funny to me. Honestly, if you knew a lot of black people, you would probably know one or two that knows someone that is white and racist and is still on good terms with them. It might sound stupid, but its extremely common. In fact, I never met a racist person who also did not have at least one black friend. I even met a former skinhead with a half-black kid. Most of these dudes keep to themselves, and aren't actively pursuing any kind of activism. Obvious exceptions exist such as Peste Noire but for the most part, their just drunks whining about blacks and jews to each other. Very, very few have done or will do anything to anyone. The comment "bands should be accountable for harming Christians" is hilarious, and shows a complete disconnect from Black metal. While I certainly don't advocate harming Christians, shit guess I am a "poser" cause I work with Christians and like them as people, but I certainly wouldn't stop listening to a band cause they practiced what they preach. My advice is to just avoid the genre as a whole, its not for people like you.
