This piece absolutely haunts me. How did you come by the score? I have never been able to find it and read somewhere that Meyer doesn't like amateurs messing around with his pieces. In fact, I can only find one Meyer score for any of his work which is a concerto for bass and orchestra. You guys really rock this. I've heard an actual Meyer recording of it but can't find that on line anymore. But you do a great job so now I'll bookmark your performance. Thank you!

I sat for both my Bottesini and Bouree videos because I am playing them on my orchestra bass in orchestral tuning- not my solo bass in different tunings (like the Meyer piece and my 1st suite recordings)

This has become a haunting video, because of the unexpected passing of Louisa in May 2012. How very sad and tragic for everyone in this video and for her family and those who knew her.
