Uptown Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2009 by NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis to keep alive great musical traditions from New Orleans and in American music. UJO consists of New Orleans' finest musicians whose only objectives are to have a good time and play music that makes you want to shake that thing!
Jeff Simon of the Buffalo News observed, " Delfeayo is, in many ways, the most fun of the Marsalises. He's the family trombonist. And record producer. And he seems to be the family wise guy too!" The Uptown Jazz Orchestra is stretching the boundaries of what is expected from big bands, playing with an extraordinary sense of joy and fun that could only be from New Orleans. With influences from Louis Armstrong to Count Basie and James Brown to J Cole, Marsalis and UJO play music to free the mind, heal the soul, and warm the heart!

This is such incredible playing from a bari sax. is it mind blowing that at his age he is still the best bari sax player ever. i would love to meet him in person. but great job guys keep it up!
