In order to get to the pulley and blower wheel all that needs to be taken is the side panel?
If we are talking about this same exact model.. then no.. completely dissembling is required 😞🫣 Remember where everything goes 🙏🏼
@@mtvappliancerepairservice ive gotten all the way from the front but did not take this panel off. Looks like their is not an idle pulley but the motor itself, wonder now if it is the rollers. Thanks for the reply too man
I can feel my dad staring another hole into my ear
Or just turn it over and take it out the bottom
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 thank you. Will try next time.
Am having a issue where it’s not cooling, i unplugged it for 5 min, reconnected and try again but now it’s blinking 81-C and I can’t change anything, do you think that it might get damaged?
@@naruto57able good day. Unfortunately, you may have a catastrophic failure.. 81-c error means you have a compressor issue… it may be time for a new refrigerator
Probably needs a belt
@@Deezyworld84 this time it was not the belt. Replaced one rear roller and front and rear drum seals.
@@Deezyworld84 because the drum seals wore out, the big gap would dirty the clothing.

yes it is!!

Wow… looks like a big job.. how many guys are working this?

Would it be cheaper to buy a new one?

@Miamibeachlife depends which one, if it was an old one it would be better to replace
Samsung refrigerators are junk you can replace everything and you will still have the same refrigerator icing and forget about your ice maker that will never work ,,,but I have a fix that actually works, throw that junk box out and buy a different brand.
I juat wish it wasn't so close to the ground as you can't catch all the water,my kitchen just gets flooded.
Agreed.. they could have need it easier for us.. but no😂
This thing looks crazy
Chewi if i were still young my dad heard id get smacked😅
😂you are 💯right.. my dad would have done the same.. that was first and last time🙏🏼.
Right ,he doesn’t show how basket case out.
You just pull it out
How Did you get basket out.didn’t show,
After removing the agitator in the bolts, you have to yank out the spin basket
Not helpful
I’m sorry about that.
Same problem! What's the FIX?????
Replacement of the back cover assembly
I have exactly the same problem. Can you help me how to fix it pls
@@mtvappliancerepairservicehow much to fix it?
@@gemmasy683 you need to order a new back panel. If everything was or is frozen 🥶, then you need to replace all the temp sensors as well. Or you can defrost abt once a week.
I’m going to do mine this weekend
This speech is my recital, I think it's very vital...
Thanks, I suspected now I know what I Gotta do❤😂
Does anyone know where to see what you need to see
❤
Where are the screws
Throw the whole dryer away lol
OMG smacking on that gum is soooo annoying 😑 😒 😤 🙄
I know, I’m sorry 🙏🏼
I have been suffering from the same problem for a long time and I want to order the block from Amazon Will the problem be solved once and for all? What are the goals of the other pieces in the video? Do they help solve a problem forever?
I always replace that whole panel with everything, cause I usually break it defrosting.
Same here
What is the part # fir this roller
What is the model number to your dryer?
Will the fact this part ia frozen cause the freezer to NOT freeze anymore? My freezer coils are fine but this fridge panel appears iced (hard ice) and im sure its also causing the fan to not spin so wondering if this could cause the issue with the freezer.
This is all correct. If back panel froze (hard) it needs to be replaced. As the insulation could be cracked from expansion of the ice.
You can have a defrost problem there or bad insulation where you have temperatures clashing
Why you have to take the washer a part?
We needed to replace the drain pump and make sure that all the drain hoses were free of any debris. The front panel must come off the washing machine to have clear access.
Was that causing the no spin also
Yes. Most washing machines, must drain out the water first before going to spin cycle. It will not spin properly if there is water in the tub.
Genius!! Watching other videos they make it so easy with clamps or just popping it in. Thanks for sharing.
Anytime. Happy to help
Did you not replace the wheels? Just cleaned it and it stopped the noise?
No, sometimes they just need to be cleaned and lubed.
Thank you!@@mtvappliancerepairservice
Is it normal the Iner tub has water inside the white plastic rings , the upper and the lower. The mine and from my friend , at the time we took the inner tub out sungs that it has a lot water inside.
Yes it's for keeping it balanced
Have an old roper dryer, thinking this is the problem.
It’s possible.
Don’t chew gum while doing a video. Sounds gross
I know thank you it is the most popular common on the video. I won’t chew gum anymore.
Any reason to take it all apart to do the bearings🤔Are you using o.e.m fsp parts or aftermarket?
How else will you get to the bearing. You have to pull out the tub to remove the spin basket. We always use factory original parts.
@@mtvappliancerepairserviceCorrect me if l'm wrong, can you change the bearings without pulling the outside tub and shocks. Is it alot easier to install bearing pulling the outside tub and console?Based on your experience how long does the new bearing shaft kit lasts after you install. Thanks
Bro u didn't have to take it down that far. Yes u need to get to outter tub and take inner tub out but u can keep it inside the cabinet and on suspension rods. U broke it down way to far and costing yourself more time and losing money by spending to much time there.
Should only take hour to do that
I had to do my front loader every 6 months it seemed like.
Are you installing original LG PUMPS?
Could you please do it without obnoxiously smacking your gum in our ears?!
Yes, I agree I’m sorry
Don't chew gum!
Yes, noted friend. You are not the first to point out 🙏🏼🫡
Thank you for showing me that you could take that backpiece off to access the fan. Mine was pretty locked up with ice and I thought I was breaking something because I couldn’t find any more screws.
Always happy to help.
LG is overcomplicated and designed to die after 3 to 5 yes max
💯 energy efficiency
It means it’s not draining so it must be a clog in the draining system at the back of the refrigerator that needs to checked
I seriously think some people just don't give a F or don't know how to take care of their stuff.... I've had a FL washer since 2005 and it unbelievably is still in operation with no issues almost 19 years now...never mold or gross crap in the seals because I periodically just wipe it all down and leave the door slightly opened when I'm not using it.
I agree 💯. It a pleasure to hear that you have a Octa power washer after so long. God bless.🙏🏼
Keep up the great work !!
@@mtvappliancerepairservice Over the years of coming across videos of machines being torn down because something went wrong... I always notice every one that failed the outer tub is caked in funk... the rubber seal looks like it never saw a wipe down in its life....My guess, the machine probably never saw hot water...stuffed to the gills with every load...probably way too many chemicals... I forgot to mention.. the 2nd year I had my FL the board failed. After it was replaced I plugged into a surge protector and never an issue.. so it's either luck... or the surge protector.
@@One-Day-After-Another you are right again.. No one wants to do 10 loads when they can do 5 😂
4-5 tablespoons of high-efficiency detergent. For a half drawn full of clothing.
Does this happen in (GE) front loader washing machines? I have a model GFWH1400D0WW & serial LZ208219T. I’ve wiped & washed out the inner boot section of the gasket (I call it a rubber baffle). Afterward, the water that used to puddle high & not drain, drained a little. I watched a video where the baffle was removed & the entire baffle was cleaned along with tan area I can reach that’s just behind the edge of the baffle behind the wire/spring piece. I don’t feel comfortable taking it off. Not yet. I don’t use fabric softener in the wash; hwr my (late) mil did decades ago when she was helping before our youngest was born. I was on bed rest from high risk preg. I have used the Downey fragrance beads in some of the wash, esp when washing blankets & comforters. Any recommendations or pearls of wisdom? I ask this because I can’t afford a new washer or dryer. I’ve recently replaced the front glider upper assembly. Literally, I replaced it with the new glider upper assembly plus the little glider pieces as the upper assembly that was in it was missing two glide pieces that were horribly damaged gliders. One was scuffed bad & the other was broken in place. The other two were missing. The the side where the gliders were gone had so much plastic rubbed that a glider thingy couldn’t work bc there was nothing left. I’m pondering on replacing the rear bearing while I remember how to work on it from these diy videos. Would it be worth replacing it or wait. Pearls of wisdom welcomed.
Good evening. Sorry for all your troubles. HAPPY TO HEAR YOU DID NOT START TAKING OFF THE RUBBER DOOR GASKET. Good thinking 🧐! It is not easy. Especially for the first time. A. I would level the washer properly. We always bring up the front two legs a bit higher (we want to direct water to the back of the drum). B. The door gasket needs to be maintained. After wash check for any small items tucked in the gasket. You will notice 3 to 6 small openings at the bottom of the door gasket. Those holes are there to drain any standing water. We want to make sure that they are always clean and free of hair and soap buildup. Mold buildup develops on the door gasket from overuse of detergent, and also closing the door after the wash is finished there for trapping orders and moisture. To prevent mold in your dispenser drawer and door gasket we encourage to leave the dispenser door open along with the main door 30 minutes to an hour. This creates circulation of air moisture will evaporate.
C. Let’s talk about loading. Capacity for your washing machine is half a drum worth of dry clothing. Anything over that is considered overloaded. Keep in mind you want room inside the basket for your clothing to wash properly. WE DO NOT ENCOURAGE OUR CLIENTS TO WASH COMFORTERS AND BLANKETS, ESPECIALLY IN YOUR GE MACHINE. IF YOUR MACHINE IS BANGING SIDE TO SIDE, THAT MEANS IT CANNOT HOLD THE WEIGHT INSIDE. NO: comforters, bigger than a twin, areal rugs, bathroom rugs with the rubber backing, no doggy beds, no pillows and no sneakers. All of those items act as a break inside the drum.
D: detergent: we just spoke about how much you should be loading in your washer. So, with a half a drum worth of clothing, you do not need any more than 4 to 5 tablespoons of high-efficiency AKA HE DETERGENT THAT’S ALL YOU NEED FOR ONE LOAD. E: cleaning your washer: we recommend using 30% white vinegar. Take 10 to 12 ounces. Spill it right into the drum and turn on the longest and hottest possible cycle.. you can do this once a week or once a month that’s really cleans the inside of your washing machine. Hopefully we were helpful.🙏🏼
@@mtvappliancerepairservice This helps a lot. Thank you for the assistance. I’ll definitely re-level the washer & if it is still in level, I’ll try to raise it up a tad in the front to help with draining in the gasket. Last night I did work with a cleaning brush to clean the inner gasket next to the inside area around & behind the spring/wire/gasket. It’s an Oxo brush that is a lot like a toothbrush with a v-shape nylon bristles. It really seemed to help a lot too. I’m glad I hadn’t removed it. Thank you again for the assistance.
Defrost sensor $9.99 don’t take out cover until you defrost
💯👌🏼👍🏼
And the front one???
What do you mean? Front what?
I like that idea. The ones I hate are the LG/kenmore elite. I have the pliers and I still can't find a good way to hook it back in the loop. I just cuss a lot and eventually it goes back together 😂
That's because it's a GE 😂
I hate that dishwasher 😂
Good money maker
@gatorappliancerepairservice no doubt about it. If the install is good, then it's not bad. A poor install will make any repair difficult
This is by far the biggest pain in the ass to replace a simple cover. GE profile dishwashers absolutely SUCK! Never again will spend the money and get a top of the line Bosch
